...but not perfect. Had stayed here in 2012 and was satisfied. For lack of other experiences I chose to come again. I found prices still reasonable and accommodation adequate. Alfredo cheerfully checked us in, nice guy, welcoming - thumbs up! Cleaning staff is not doing their job very well. We found trash under the sleeper sofa, a broken hairdryer which I left marked with a note on the table was not replaced. On a separate return a few days later, we had forgotten trash and used towels hanging from the bathroom door, both from the previous guest... CLEAN is something else... I expected better. Rooms facing the pool area are subject to noise from other guests who just don't know how to behave and be considerate. Someone even came back at 1 a.m. letting children run in the hallways, popping confetti party poppers, leaving a mess in the hallway and elevators... People have no manners anymore... But that's not the hotel's fault, just, this is the clientele you deal with here... Their coffee is good, breakfast choices and times very limited, breakfast area way too small.

This place is a moldy, smelly mess!!! Don't be fooled by the outside. There are two buildings that face each other. The one where the office is has been undergoing renovation so some of the rooms are ok while others are still bad. We arrived early following a cruise and were assured of receiving two of the renovated rooms. We were told that they would be ready after we did some site seeing around Miami. When we returned we were told that we could have one of the new rooms but that all of the others were taken. The manager on duty allowed me to look at two other rooms. Both were smelly and moldy. One even had a dehumidifier and fan running to dry it out. When I went back to the desk he told me that he knew that the hotel was disgusting -his words. He made some phone calls and the general manager, who we spoke to earlier, said that we could take the room or leave it. She refused to get us a room in another nearby Marriott. I had to call Marriott directly and they took care of us on their end and found us a room nearby. Don't sleep here if you value your health.

We were passing through on our way to the keys and just wanted to stay one night. We got in around 11pm and Alfredo greeted us at the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little hard to find. It's located behind a sort of strip mall so you can't really see it from the street. The hotel is very dated but it was clean. The most disappointing thing for us was the A/C didn't cool down the room. It seemed to be blowing out cold but the room just wouldn't cool down. We were very tired so we made it work but had we been staying longer, we would have needed to change rooms I think. The kitchenette was very nice although we didn't need it for our stay. There was an actual stove with an oven, which is very uncommon. The breakfast in the morning was a typical Marriott breakfast. There are some hot options as well as your toast, pastries, cereal and fruit. They staff was all very friendly. The great customer service is what really gave this place a better rating for me.

Excelent place to stay for business or pleasure; International & Dolphin Malls near, Walmart and Sam´s Club also very close; mayor banks, parks, stores, restaurants. Excelent quality - price relation. Breakfast included.

First of all, can I just say that the streets in Miami are overwhelming.... the names change from street, to blvd, to court, at a whim.... and even our GPS couldn't keep up! Anyway, this place was fine as far as cleanliness, and breakfast was good... but they were having trouble with their alarm system and it kept beeping throughout the night! - They assured us no reason to be panicked.... yet they couldn't disarm it until the technician arrived. So needless to say, we got little sleep. Also, we had booked a two bedroom unit for two couples.... and it had only ONE bathroom. That was inconvenient, but we managed. - The room layout is unusual, and though there are places to eat very close by, they are hard to get to with many dead end and confusing streets in the industrial area. - We did however have a great dining experience at Divieto, a wonderful Italian restaurant that I will review separately.

I received a very warm welcome from the Hotel Manager herself, Alysha Mamud. Probably one of the best welcome greetings I have ever received. She really made me feel very welcome and valued as a guest. She called a few minutes after I checked in to make sure everything was OK with the room; I said yes at the time, but that was not enough time for me to begin to experience one disappointment to another. The Tub had a sinking felling to it, like water was underneath the Tub, When I walked in, a strong Bleach smell greeted me. Now I began to wonder what were they trying to hide. Later in the day, I realized the Carpet was wet, probably the reason for the bleach smell right? who knows. The Furniture is old and worn as is the Carpet in the room. The Hallway Carpet is a different story. This Property is in need of a major renovation. But I doubt that will happen soon. Its unfortunate that after receiving such a warm welcome from the Hotel Manager, my experience was very underwhelming.

Stayed here for two separate stays. One before heading off to Orlando, and one after returning. I chose this hotel, because I needed a 2 bedroom suite to accommodate 5 people. The rooms that I had were very nice and clean. The property was nice also. The best part of the stay was that they gave you great home made chocolate chip cookies and water. The staff here was outstanding. I knew about this hotel from being here years back, and having a nice stay then. The rooms have a small kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave, sink, cook top, and oven. Who could ask for anything more? Kudos to all of the staff including the GM, Alysha Mamud, and also Carolina. Marriott should be very proud of this property.

Rooms are basic but very nicely laid out. Good kitchen and bathroom area with 2 double bedrooms. Breakfast every morning is a good extra. Laundry and a 'gym' (there's like 3 machines) and a pool outside. This is perfect for someone on business who only needs to stay a week or 2. There are local shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

We did a quick overnight here and they were nice enough to get us adjoining rooms. Staff were all super nice. Fairly easy to get to and it is near the airport and Dolphin Mall. Pretty much a standard Marriott with free wifi and free breakfast.

Had some issues out of the management and staff's control. The Operations Manager Ms Paulette Aguiar was extremely helpful as was her staff. The staff did their best to fix the situation and took care of us. Thank you and we highly recommend.
