We spent a total of 13 days at this hotel. Some staff members tried to help and was satisfactorily in there duties. The other members at Front desk was absolutely ridiculously poor in the delivery of there responsibilities. However, overall t service was poor. House keeping very poor service. Due to latin speaking language only at hotel in a English speaking country that was ridiculous too Christmas and all.I am advising fellow travellers remember "GAYOR". So, if anyone choose to write me i will let them know what that means. Otherwise I give them a -minus 2 rating. As we were seasonal collateral damage. As no hotel was available in my price range during December Christmas season.
We stayed only one night. The property is located in two separate buildings. The staff was very friendly. The small suite/rooms seem dated and worn. The outdoor pool is a small bit larger than a bathtub. We expect more from Marriott.
I stayed for 5 nights with my partner and a reasonable to good experience . Good points 1. Very friendly front desk staff. 2. Room "looked" clean (over looked the pool) 3. Bed comfy 4. Little kitchen area, computer desk, iron and iron board. 5. Room cozy for a couple 6. AC workeddddddd well.... 7. OK little gym "size" 8. Plenty space for parking 9. Great location. Close to literally EVERYTHING. pharmacy, food, the mall, banks. .... you name it. 10. Pool opened late and looks very clean. BAD THINGS 1. Elevator funky 2. Gym equipment filthy 3. Kitchen area felt dingy 4. Tub had two scary marks 5. Entrance doors to the hotel felt dirty 6. LOADS of odd looking men roaming the premises. Was told they were construction workers that live on site.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good location. The facilities are old, also It is necessary to emphasize the cleanliness of the rooms. You hear trucks working in the area in the early hours (3am).
I was travelling with my family and called hotel to request a larger room. At check in I had been assigned to a spacious 2 bedroom suite with a living room, kitchen and decent size dining room table. My wife and I remembered that this room was as large as our first apartment. We checked in late and check out early, but had a great night's sleep and this hotel was ideal before our flight. Free parking. Outdoor swimming pool. We had the free breakfast which was basic, but had fresh fruit, yogurt and the coffee was decent. I found a very good rate and it was more affordable than other mid range hotels by the airport,.
The only good thing about this place is I was staying on points and didn't have to pay for it. It is a dump. Not once, not twice, but three times did someone use the keycard and try to enter my room. The only thing that stopped it was the chain door guard. Each time someone yelled through the door and said sorry, they didn't know it was occupied. Lots of people loitering around the hotel doing God knows what. The place was not clean and not well maintained. The TV was glued in place and couldn't be made to rotate and face the bed. The 'free' hot breakfast was totally disgusting. We too one bite then decided to just go eat at the airport. It was that bad. This place should have its Marriott ticket pulled. Total dump. There are lots of hotels near the airport. My advice is to find a different one.
The 2 bedrooms gave us room & breakfast was good. I especially liked the walnuts and raisins on the side of the oatmeal. Breakfast staff were dilligent in keeping food hot & fresh. Phillip at the desk is a hoot & very nice. Thank you Phillip. Everyone there was nice.
This hotel is very dirty. I stayed in the building opposite the office. From the moment I entered the building I could smell dampness and a musky odor. The carpets were filthy throughout. My room had water leaking from the AC vent. The staff changed my room to another floor which was slightly better, but also dirty. The pillows smelled, the floor had rice around the sofa which even on my 2nd day was still there, clearly no vacuuming during room service. Also the noise level was very high - I could hear my neighbor’s conversations. Bottom-line, a filthy and noisy hotel.....i do not recommend it at all!!
This place was ok. We walked in the room and I saw a couple small bugs (ants/flies not cockroach) scury under the oven. We were only staying there one night so I didn't bother switching rooms. The rooms could use updating, the bathroom seemed worn out in spots. There also always seemed to be people hanging out in the parking lot, which seemed odd to me.
The location is very good - there are a lot of fast food stores, casual restaurants, and a Publix. Also it is close enough to the airport. The hotel is definitely showing signs of wear and tear but it is spacious enough and comfortable. Front desk was very pleasant. However, the noise seemed to be a bit of an issue for me. Rooms are not sound-proof and if you have a noisy neighbor like I did, it is not going to be quiet. When I walked through a hallway to the elevator, i heard music, loud conversation, baby crying, kids screaming, etc, coming from the rooms on both sides. In my own room, with the noise coming from the connecting adjacent room and my stove top making some very loud noise in the kitchenette, it felt like I was in a college dorm or something rather in a hotel....
