We stayed at this hotel for a week and paid a few extra dollars for a room with a view. The view is worth it! One side of the hotel is a view of the port while the other is of the Queen Mary and Shoreline Village. The port view is very industrial. Go for the view. You won't regret it! The accessibility to downtown by foot, bike, car, bus or water taxi is perfect. We chose to walk. It was a ten minute walk on a path designated for walking or biking. The breakfast is expansive. The bed was comfortable and the hotel staff was friendly. The outdoor fireplace, with a view of the water, is cozy. The parking fee is a drag but the wifi is free as is the breakfast. We will stay here again for sure.

I stayed at the Hyatt for an educators conference. I travel frequently, and this was definitely one of the nicer hotels where I have stayed. The amenities were great, the overall look, feel and quality of the establishment was very nice. It was a very comfortable stay, and I hope to come back one year to see the Long Beach Grand Prix. It would be a perfect location for that!

I made a last minute booking at the Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Long Beach for a conference. My room had a panoramic view of Rainbow Harbor and the Queen Mary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to return with my family.

The front desk attendant, Jose, was extremely welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Pool closes at 10pm, probably the only thing I didn't like. Other than that, great hotel and I would recommend it to a friend.

This is a great hotel but could use a bar. However, the free city shuttle is a great way to get over to Spring street and not have to drive.

Inspite of showing my receipt from Your company and bank debit history, front desk still charged me $210 and stated "it doesn't show that They paid us yet" so does that mean they will charge me right away? Like I'm going to escape paying them? They didn't even resolve it by "securing" their customer that we will take care of it, so the entire time I'm worried that I'm paying $390/night... Kept on reminding them to either contact your company and Let me know (a customer) if there are any problems. Hotel was clean and comfortable but the front desk staff can improve with customer service and communication skills---They are in fact "The Face" of the hotel that my friend Recommended to me, as well with multiple stays at their hotels all over California, this is the lone location they haven't met their expectations.

Really good experience, quiet area and walking distance to get back to the hustle and bustle

Went to a convention at the Long Beach Convention center and decided to stay at the Residence Inn. It was across the bridge but for me and my friends an easy walk over to the convention. There is also a bus that is free and swings by the Inn regularly. The staff is so nice and so fun we enjoyed their professionalism and but easy manner, many laughs with the front desk staff. Breakfast is complimentary, the food was good a lot to choose from. If I had kids I would not go anywhere else, the breakfast cost savings alone will be a great help. What a great place to stay!!!!

We had a great time visiting Long Beach. The Hotel has a great location, near all the main attractions. There is a shuttle that stops in front of the hotel which takes you to the Queen Mary, The Long beach Aquarium and other stops for free. It was great not having to drive around, but the hotel now charges a 15 dollar parking fee, not 12 like their website states. The free breakfast was great and our room was pretty big with a great view. The only downside was that the room had a stuffy smell..we had to open all the windows and spray it!

This was a great room--my daughter is a college basketball player and could not come home for Thanksgiving. We decided to load up the leftover turkey and fixings and surprise her. I booked the king room with the kitchen set up. Nice view of the harbor too. Staff was helpfull and would stay here again.

all i can say is that all the photos online are very misleading to how little the room is in real life. and it was very smelly in the room as well and there was urine all over the mattress that was in the couch bed.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast included in the rate is good. It has a kitchennet and will be also good for a long-stay. For being on the other side of the convention center, parking rate of $7/day was a bit sad. I wasn't informed of the rate either. I found out only because it was on my bill. Overall, it was a very good business hotel.

This was a very pleasant hotel experience, except for a few minor things. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, and my room was very clean and modern, with a fully stocked kitchen area, including a microwave and refrigerator. In fact, the room was too big for me, since I was lodging by myself. This room would have been great for two people or a family with children. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast that offers a wide range of choices. My only problems with my stay: the air-conditioning in my room was very loud and there was an air grate or vent in the bathroom that rattled and kept me awake. The other problem I had was I had asked front desk staff to do a wake-up call to my room but I never got the call, even though I double-checked that I had made the request, and they had no explanation for why I did not receive the call. Overall, though, I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location relatively close to downtown Long Beach, the free breakfast, and the pleasant desk staff.

Hotel charges guests $12 a day for parking in their own lot .... kinda tacky.

My experience here was wonderful. The harborview studio we had was amazing. The mini kitchen supplied enough basic cooking & eating utensils to cook a meal if you choose to, very cute! The view was very nice even though we had a partial industrial view too. Continental breakfast was alright. I highly recommend this place for comfortability. It was also 5 minutes away ftom downtown area

enjoyed my visit at hyatt long beach

I stayed at the Hyatt for an educators conference. I travel frequently, and this was definitely one of the nicer hotels where I have stayed. The amenities were great, the overall look, feel and quality of the establishment was very nice. It was a very comfortable stay, and I hope to come back one year to see the Long Beach Grand Prix.
