A friend and I stayed at the Luna & Simone Hotel for three nights in late July 2017. The hotel was very nice; rooms were clean and modern, and the bathroom was terrific. Hotel has free wifi. All rooms come with flat-screen TVs. Check out the pictures on the hotel website. Price also includes a nice breakfast served till 9 am. We booked through the website and received a 5% discount offered by the hotel. This hotel is also recommended by Rick Steves. Great location. 8 minutes walk to the Victoria Tube Station, 10 minutes to the Tate Britain, 20 minutes to Westminster Abbey. 2.0 miles from Trafalgar Square. A number of nice restaurants are nearby. We ate at St. George Tavern, Grumbles and Cask (a gastro pub). I recommend each one. Bottom line - I definitely recommend this hotel!

A bus stop outside. Wonderful breakfasts. Great advice for the centre of London. One simply can't beat this sort of service and quality. I love this place! It is the middle of everything that is London and a heartbeat away from everything else.

We were looking for a small hotel in a quiet location with triple rooms and Luna & Simone met our requirements. It is on a quiet street that has several other hotels. The room was cramped, but that is expected in London. The beds were comfortable, everything worked well, the breakfast was good and the staff were welcoming.

My wife, 2 kids (18 & 15) and I stayed here for 5 nights. Needed 2 rooms for our family. Peter and Bernard along with their son Mark were wonderful hosts. Always with a friendly smile. Very clean and for a city hotel had decent space. Hotel is located on an active street, but it is primarily residential so there was not a lot of night noise, which is nice, particularly during the summer when leaving the windows open at night. Breakfasts were fairly typical English breakfast, that always came out exceedingly quick. Location was terrific. Bus stop right outside of hotel that goes to almost all major sites. Tube stop is only a 10 min walk. A number of good restaurants nearby. Hotel is an historic building so they are not able to add an elevator. If you have trouble with stairs, then book early and ask for a lower room floor. They do their best to accommodate you. My wife and I had a room with a double bed, which to us is more of a full. I'm 6'4" and my wife is 5'10". After one night we had to ask for a room with 2 twin beds because we couldn't fit. Again, they were very accommodating. Just an FYI when you book a room. Highly recommend for its value, location and service.

I've read a few negative reviews on Luna-Simone and can't understand how anyone could possibly get poor service here. Peter, Bernard and Mark are serious about their work, friendly, inviting and also have wonderful sense of humor. The housekeeping supervisor is a nice lady and also very friendly. After our initial stay we returned a few days later and they bent over backwards to accommodate our change of plans and room requirements. At this price range I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting London. The entire property is spotless and in perfect working order. The #24 bus ( runs 24 hrs) stops at the front door just 2 stops from Victoria station on the circle line. This is one of the most convenient locations in London and a very safe area. This was the only hotel I could find with 3 beds in one room. Personal service at breakfast is better than anyone should expect. The English breakfast was on par with other BnB's we visited. Coffee? Yes, it's available. This is England and tea is the best bet. Many of the complaints are from travelers with unreasonable expectations - Air conditioning- everyone should know this is not to be taken for granted throughout London, or Europe for that matter. - Unfriendly staff- absolutely preposterous, I can't imagine anyone getting poor service at Luna-Simone. A stay with Peter and Bernard on their worst day would be better than a good day at most hotels. -Stairs- hello, have you traveled to UK or Europe before, something else not to take for granted. This is something you should ask about when making plans. - Due diligence is priority one. Cheers

The Hotel is well located, you can walk to the center, parliament, Big Ben... in nearly 20 minutes. The Pimlico station from the Victoria line is next to 5 minutes of walking. The staff is lovely and very kind. The English breakfast is perfect to begin a tourist day ! To sum up a perfect Hotel to visit London and feel the great and sweet English atmosphere !

The Luna & Simone Hotel is actually two adjacent and formerly separate hotels literally joined together by a common reception as well as a common basement breakfast area. We stayed at the Luna part of the hotel. Location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Victoria Station. Our room was not big, but comfortable enough for a stay when you would not be much in the room anyway. The bathroom was very nice and everything was in perfect order - not something you can say about most places, even high-end hotels. The hotel gave the impression of having been redecorated recently or it was simply well-maintained - or perhaps both ! Breakfast was included in room rate and cooked-to-order-style from a small menu. You could choose between healthy options and the full english version: Not giant portions, but quite sufficient to get you a good start. To the extent anyone asked for "extras", the staff was accommodating. Only downside was that breakfast was only from 8AM to10AM, 7 days a week. So no sleep-in on Saturday/Sunday if you want to catch your breakfast! Staff - seemed to consist of the extended family of the owners - was correct and friendly. We would consider the Luna also for our next stay !

I spent two nights here recently with my daughter. We had a fabulous time. The hotel is central and the staff are helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and clean and nice and quiet (despite some huge thunderstorms!) We had easy access to Victoria station and Pimlico Underground and the 24 bus was outside the door when we needed it instead. Overall a really pleasant experience!

We stayed here for three nights in June on the fourth floor facing the street. The room was small, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and very nice. The toilet flushed so ferociously it made me jump back...good for a laugh. It was very hot that week in London and the rooms have no air conditioning, however our room stayed cool and comfortable. The ceiling fan and window were more than adequate. The bed did have a bit of a tendency to roll away from the headboard, but we had a lot to do with that problem too. Breakfast was simple but well done and tasty. The coffee was hot, strong and plentiful. Location is decent. Clean safe area just far enough from the crowds to be peaceful but close enough that it was easy to get around. There were a few decent places to eat in the immediate vicinity. The Hotel has several floors and no lift. It was very clearly stated on the website. Don't be surprised to find you need to climb stairs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean comfortable basic room and a good nights sleep

What a find this cute little property was. Aside from being very reasonably priced and in a great location which is walking distance to Buckingham Palace, and great restaurants, this place is run by twins Peter & Bernard who are an absolute hoot! They made breakfast so much fun (aside from the food being great) we had such a laugh, they had so many stories to tell and great recommendations regarding restaurants etc. My room was comfortable and had all I needed for a great stay, although it was a little warm without air conditioning there was a great fan that kept me cool while sleeping. I would highly recommend this property for those wanting a great personal experience over an indifferent one at a big chain property.
