The staff was amazing, specially shahanaz and the manager! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. the breakfast could have more options but was great as well. we will definitely come back again, you made our stay an outstanding one!
This is located in an industrial area. Anything relevant is located at least 3-4 miles in the city and it takes 30-40 mins to reach to appropriate city location for food or anything.
- The room air conditioning thermostat was initially broken causing the room to become very cold. The thermostat was subsequently replaced, but it lacked finite control of the heat! - There was very little separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom which caused the whole bathroom floor to become wet once showering was complete. - The shower water pressure was very low, close to a dribble. - The water was very soft which, in conjunction with the low water pressure, resulted in it taking ages to rinse the body of soap. At least four times the norm. - The coffee served at breakfast was very weak, and it was actually like drinking coffee flavored hot water, and not coffee. - The scramble egg was overdone, and ended up being "flaky scrambled egg", not partially soggy as it should have been.
Hotel is nice, clean, good price but a bit far from central London. There’s not a lot nearby restaurants to choose from.
My Dad always wanted to visit the Cambridge American Cemetery in London as his brother is buried there. Killed in WW II at just 20 years of age. My sister and I accompanied him on this trip as he is 83 and really shouldn't travel that distance alone. The Cemetery is kept immaculately and the respect that is given to the fallen soldiers is heartwarming. It truly was a great experience. Thank you Suzie for the beautiful ceremony when dressing the grave with flags for family members. We also visited many other attractions such as Big Ben (under construction), Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abby, London Eye, Harrods, Kensington, Greenwich, Thames River Cruise, Tower Bridge, Museums, Canary Wharf, etc, etc, etc........... We traveled on the DLR & Tube to get around which is a great way to travel. Our first day there we went into Central London and we were lucky enough to see The Queen & Charles going into the Abby. It was just random luck ~ She is adorable! It was the weekend of her 92nd Birthday Celebration which was to take place the next day. We ate in some of the oldest pubs and met some really lovely people. I have to say that everyone was very helpful to us when asking questions as to how to get around on the tube. Living in New England in the US we don't travel that way so it was a whole new experience. A little hectic at times but we managed!! :) We really enjoyed our trip to London and have many wonderful memories. So glad we were able to take this trip.
Don't let its location next to the cement plant concern you. Hotel is pleasant and surroundings quiet and calm. Brilliant breakfast as well.
The hotel is fine but it is to far from the center of London
The only problem was with the cleaning staff. They did a poor job and they could not figure out that three people in the room means three towels, three coffee cups, etc. Most could not speak English.
Had a pleasant stay with my husband and we love the breakfast provided by the hotel. Nevertheless, some negative sides are the brown colour stain was spotted on the blanket and the staff requested me to get the things I requested at the lobby.
