We stayed here recently and were very pleased. The service from all the staff was first class and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully presented with all the amenities you could wish for. A first class hotel.
Beautiful!! My friend and travelled from Sheffield. We shared a fabulous birthday tea, we were served by Stefan, who is a credit to the hotel. We both thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon in the delightful setting.
The hotel is located in Mayfair which is consider very high end area in London. You can walk to all shopping areas the likes of Knightsbridge ,Oxford street and Regent St. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We love London, and as with most travel destination, location can make all the difference in the world. With the Intercontinental Park Lane, located where Queen Elizabeth II's childhood I'd be hard pressed to find a better location or more luxurious accomidations. Located in the heart of Mayfair at Hyde Park and Green Park, and within site of Buckingham Palace and a stone's throw from the tube, there are so many things to do within a ten minute walk I'm sure I could not cover them all. We loved the 400 year old Rose and Crown pub, only a block away, and walked to Kensington Palace and its cafe in Hyde Park, a short walk, for English Tea and Scones. The room was splended, spacious (for London), and very clean. The staff was very professional, attentive, and friendly. We look forward to visiting this fine establishment again in the future.
Fantastic service received from the whole team. The stay was fantastic, the cleanliness, attention to detail and ambience are all second to none. Fantastic position in the centre of London, perfect for solo and couples travel for both business and pleasure. Thank you!
The location of the hotel made it so easy to see all the highlights of London and so convenient for Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Knightsbridge and Soho. The service at the hotel was exceptional - especially the doormen, front desk and concierge. The deluxe room we were in was not in my preferred modern style and if I was looking for funky stylish place, then this is not the one. However we were looking for location this trip and they over deliver in this regard, so decor is less important.
Right, let me start off by saying that I didn't stay here. I went down for a meeting and spent some time in the reception / cafe waiting for this meeting. It is very nice inside, and staff are reasonably helpful. Let me emphasise reasonably, not incredibly. For their prices, I would expect more. I had 2 coffees. £12.36. £5.50 a coffee plus £1.36 service charge. You telling me that the company can't afford staff wages out of charging £5.50 a coffee? It wasn't even that good a coffee to be honest. I felt robbed. I am aware one has to pay a bit extra in Central London, especially Mayfair, but that was ridiculous.
Grat location with a slightly less great external entrance. Inside though and its all very well appointed and smart. Service is all good but on this occasion i had to make 4 phone calls to reception and wait over an hour for some coffee capsules. Also, our room was not cleaned during the first night which took 2 calls to resolve. That aside it was as usual a lovely experience to stay here. PS - the beds are amazing and so comfortable. Rooms sizes typical London (small) size
The whole experience was so enjoyable. Our room was lovely, the service excellent all throughout the hotel. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel was so well placed for all the sights that London has to offer.
Stay many times now at this hotel, it's always busy, located in a great part of park lane/Mayfair that makes getting to many of the sites on foot relatively easy. The rooms are well kept, very quiet and the service always polished. The bar and dining facilities are excellent, staff well engaged. We will return.
