Arrordable, great location, great design, great staff, easy to use. Loved it! From tsrat to finish we found this the best hotel experience we have had in a long time. They are expanding so will be ideal for city breaks around the world
EVERYTHING about this hotel is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - they really go out of their way to make sure you are OK. The hotel itself is funky and the rooms are amazingly comfy with incredible views. The best part is the food! Amazing breakfast and such tasty meals and drinks. I hate to leave!!!
After an awesome gig seeing Muse it was just a fabulous end to a fabulous day everything about it was fantastic the beday was huge and the shower with the light features just topped it off will definitely stay again
Great hotel in fab location. Can’t fault it. Huge comfy bed, lovely shower. Big fluffy towels. Smart lighting, TV and blinds/curtains. Fun wake up calls. Loved staying here. Had nice chill out in bar area
If you want a super clean, quiet room with a comfy Kingsize bed, high-tech amenities, in a high-tech hotel that doesn't feel like a chain, in a great funky neighbourhood (Shoreditch) with all kinds of great restaurants - this is it. There isn't much room for lots of luggage, but if you're alone or two people with a little bit of luggage, it's fantastic! Loved it. And I stayed there for a week!
If you've stayed at any other Citizen-M you know the quirkinesses with beds placed in the windows, toilet and shower in the middle of the room and all functions controlled by an iPad. Love it or hate it - that's what you'll get here too. I like Citizen-M hotels in general (My Fave is the Bowery one in NYC) and this one is no exception to that rule. Rooms that face the railway have a nice view over the area and amazing morning light. It's a 5 min walk to the box park and all in all the location is ideal. My only objection is that it just doesn't really feel right to stay at a Citizen-M in Shoreditch just as I wouldn't stay in one when in Kreuzberg Berlin... It sort of takes away some of the experience. My fave hotel in the area is still the Hoxton followed by the Ace. With that said I'd still stay at the Citizen-M again if I'm in town for work.
Been at CitizenM for business, I will definitely come back if I have a private trip next time. Bed, shower, staff and location were quite good and I do recommend this hotel for couple and/or single person.
Having stayed at the CitizenM in Times Square & Bowery in New York, sadly this is like its poor relation. Hotel seems tired compared to other hotels, for the price other newer hotels in the area would be a better choice
This was my second visit, this time on business, and I was really impressed by the genuine warmth of the welcome we received, particularly from reception staff Drew and Melinda. Drew gave us a long list of local recommendations for restaurants and bars, and Melinda saw me beavering at my laptop on a tight deadline and kept me fuelled with great coffee. There was none of the aloofness you sometimes find in London's hipster areas. Bar staff were friendly, our bed was super-comfortable, the location is excellent. I'll definitely be back.
OK hotel but perhaps not entirely up to the hype it gets. The room stands out for its huge wall to wall double bed and the broad selection of free movies. The bath room is ok but nothing to write home about. Breakfast is varied but pretty basic. The only real minus was the check in that was a bit more laborious than it should have been.
