The flat is very well located, just 5 minutes walk from Paddington station and 2 minutes from Lancaster Gate station. You will find there everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are hairdryer, iron with board, washing machine, heating and fan. We have recently installed TV with Netflix included.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is in a fantastic location, close to plenty of great restaurants and in close proximity to Paddington Station and another tube station that gives great access to the airport and the rest of the city. The neighborhood felt safe and the room, while small/cozy, was more than enough for what we needed it for. The room was clean when we checked in and the communication from the property manager was excellent. We would recommend ear plugs just because of the nature of staying in a multi-unit building on a relatively busy street but this was hardly a hassle.There is an elevator if you're carrying heavier loads or have a physical limitation to stairs (unit is on the second floor). We were able to eat breakfast every day within a block of the flat and the food was fantastic!This is a great option for any couple looking for simple accommodations in London with easy access to the city.

A week in London

This was actually the perfect flat for me and my week of exploring London. It is a small fully equipped flat with an orientation away from the street so very quiet. There is a fan in the flat that can be turned on to subdue any noise from the neighboring apartments. It was lovely to be able to open the windows and allow fresh into the apartment when I was there. I did not rate the flat as "excellent" in terms of cleanliness simply because I noticed that there was a large amount of dust and a tooth dental pick cleaner on the floor between the bed and baseboards. I would have liked to see the areas not obvious to walk on be cleaner - a minor detail overall.I was super relieved that there was no smell of cigarette smoke in this apartment - so grateful for this!The property owner was very thoughtful in his communication and answered all my inquiries quickly and graciously. There is a problem with the toilet flusher mechanism and he immediately asked if a handyman needed to be sent over.I appreciated the location of this flat so much - there is a very good Italian restaurant at street level next to the front door of the apartment complex, there is a breakfast place just down the street a bit that serves amazing breakfast and smoothies, there are small markets close by to procure fruit, walking to Hyde park is so easy, and Lancaster gate and Paddington are very close walks.Obtaining the key was a bit tricky, but it worked. I would definitely return to this apt

Great Location, Needs Better Building Management

Small but adequate space for our needs (two adults). Location was wonderful (very close to Paddington Station, Lancaster Gate tube stop, and Hyde Park). The unit itself was clean and tidy, with many essentials (basic cookware, utensils, etc.) We did feel that the building and building management could be improved -- the hallway leading to the unit had an unpleasant odor of mothballs and something funky (I suspect something once spilled on the carpet and it was never properly cleaned, leaving a remaining smell). But once inside the unit, it wasn't an issue. There were a few things here and there which could have been better: a small wastebasket in the bathroom (especially helpful for women), an additional shelf or hook in the bathroom (no space for toiletries), blinds or sheer curtains on the windows (would have allowed light in while still offering privacy from neighbors), a bedside lamp. The biggest issue, however, was that there was no way to get in touch with anyone on-site for maintenance issues. Three days into our stay we noticed an alarm from a smoke detector going off somewhere nearby in the building. We notified our host, who responded 24 hours later that he had reported this to the building management, but the issue was never resolved. We slept with earplugs for the rest of the trip, and even tried to contact management on our own, but the fact that there was an alarm for the remaining five days (and nights) was really disruptive.
