Holiday Inn London Brent Cross

Generally an ok stay. Sleep was poor as noisy people in an adjacent room kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast cereals looked tired and hot food ok. Mushrooms and beans didn’t look too appetising.

Started poorly with a very unfriendly receptionist, then I met Anna, who was very helpful and friendly, breakfast very nice and regularly filled up, staff very helpful in all areas. Very well located.

I stay at IHG hotels every week and I was slightly disappointed with this Holiday Inn. The location was good and rooms ok but the service at the bar and restaurant was very poor. I went down to the bar area around 8pm and it is a pretty small area for a hotel and was very busy. I went to the bar and she said we are really busy and will have to wait. Eventually after 15 minutes I asked if I could go in the restaurant but was told there was a private meal even though half was empty and by this time it was around 8.30. I moaned a little and said why cant I go round the corner, at which the lady grumbled under her breath and said ok if you really have to!! I then had to wait for 35 minutes for my soup and then the burger came. Overall I felt like I was putting the staff out and they couldn't cope as it was busy

Our group of 25 stayed here for EF Tours for 2 nights. The accommodations were clean and fine for 2 nights. The walk to the tube was a distance and was not the best but we managed. The breakfast bar was included and was fine. It was a distance from center city but is what I expected for an EF Tour hotel.

I arrived at reception and was met by a very friendly and professional member of staff. My Rewards Club status was recognised. Check in was quick and efficient and my prior to arrival accommodation requests were met. The room was of an average size for a 2 person maximum room, was very clean and had all the usual amenities, Large TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities etc. and had adequate power points to charge your electrical devices although no USB points. The bathroom was clean and modern with Bath/Shower and toilet. Complimentary toiletries were provided. The only issue I had with the bathroom was that in my opinion the shower didn't have enough pressure power to it so could have been better. but that's just how I like the shower setting. The view was overlooking a busy main road/duel carriage way and past that looking on to the Brent Cross shopping complex with all the top leading stores, bars and eateries that satisfies all tastes. The hotel has a lounge bar on the ground floor next to the reception along with a Restaurant. The Bar is small and friendly and has an array of hot and cold food and drinks offerings. The Restaurant serves good food and whilst I was there the service was attentive but a little slow. The food and drink was of a good standard. The Hotel supplies a complimentary shuttle service at certain times of the day ( 7 days a week) to the local Tube station which is only about 5 minutes away. From the Tube station it is only about 15 to 20 minutes in to Central London and all the attractions it has to offer. Would I stay again at this hotel - Yes if I was in this part of London in the future.

I was at the Hotel for a week looking after 30 Americans...kids and their parents....reception staff were very patient (kids kept looking their key cards) and we had no complaints regarding food, cleanliness or staff....and was ideal for our coach to travel I to London.....👍

This hotel could not be in a better position. You are only a 5 minute walk from all that Brent Cross has to offer. The hotel is very nice and the staff are great. Try to get a high room as this gives great views of the area. The rooms are clean tidy and the bed is so comfortable. Yes even better than my own bed (must get a new one).

I attended a seminar here recently. Due to the difficulty reaching this location I only just made it and didn't notice that - even though it is a hotel - you have to pay a parking charge to visit even for a short time. I was there for 1 hour 9 minutes and have just received a parking ticket for £100 (reduced to £60 if paid within a few days). What a great way to treat customers! I won't be going there again.

I stop at the hotel regularly for work, and do so because of location and service of staff. both reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is pretty good. the rooms vary in quality but on the whole are comfortable and clean. the executive suites are very good.

Booked a room with 2 doubles beds but only got 2 singles. Carpet was stained, stains in bathroom and generally the room was not very clean at all. Tried to call reception a couple of times but no answer and little interest was shown on checkout
