We paid for a breakfast up front as it was at a discounted price. The breakfast was limited, overcooked and certainly not worth the discounted price. I asked if I could cancel a day and was told I would still be charged. Given that I felt the breakfast was unsatisfactory I think this was unreasonable. The quality was not acceptable. The attitude of the staff was also not acceptable when I raised a reasonable request. The hotel is in a great location but our room was small and cramped and looking tired. It’s a shame it lacks a personnel touch, clearly just run as a business without dedicated commitment.

It’s a lovely hotel a bit faded in glory other than the lobby area. The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean the area around the subway was a little funky and very commercial on Kensington high Street, so therefore a little high priced for the area. I would say it’s more of a 3 1/2 star than a four star hotel, although the service was very good.

The atmosphere inside the hotel is beautiful.It is 150 years old building.50 meter away from Metro.And away with just 1 time get on get off…The street in front of the hotel have many restaurant , market 7/24….Breakfast choice is excellent.Staff always try to solve your demands.They have pop corn at bar at night and it smell delicious.Our child eat every night :) Also Hop on Hop off tour available in front of the hotel bus stop.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. Three days pre-cruise was made amazing by the staff and the idea that they could make our stay better by simply sharing our plans so they might make them better. And they did!
