The Bailey's Hotel London

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Repeat visitor at this location. Centrally located in Kensington with easy access to all tourist spots via tube, bus, taxi or foot. Quiet, but great for tourists, families, also seems to attract business travelers. Everything is clean, modern and high quality. Beds are among the most comfortable that we have found anywhere. WiFi and TV are top of the line. Staff is exceptional, helpful and knowledgable.

I loved staying here. The room was small but perfect for one person. I was on the first floor so I only needed the elevator when moving my suitcase. I used the lovely entrance stairway every day. And I had a front facing room, overlooking the underground station plaza which gave me a nice wake up view every day. I moved to another hotel in Mayfair later in the week and wish I had stayed at The Bailey's!

We stayed at The Bailey's for five nights in February. Each night, the hotel felt more and more like home. The staff was wonderfully warm and welcoming, and always offering to help with favors big and small. In terms of service, it was really one of the nicest experiences we've had in a hotel in a long time. The entire hotel, and the room, were spotlessly clean. Comfortable furnishings all around. The room had every kind of outlet you could imagine, including USB. The bathroom, likewise, spotless -- outfitted with nice Grohe fixtures, heated towel rack, proper vanity mirror, etc. The Bailey's location is ideal, too -- a minute's walk to the Gloucester Street Underground station, the upshot of which is, you can get directly from Heathrow Airport to The Bailey's, and vice versa, on the Piccadilly Line in a shade under 50 minutes. A one-way fare is only 6 pounds. Best Heathrow-hotel deal in my book by a long way.

The room was clean, lovely, and quite roomy for London. The housekeeping staff were exceptional, as we rarely saw them, but knew they had been there because the room was always cleaned. It was very nice to have the outlet be dual voltage. Obviously this hotel caters to the business/international traveler and has thought of little touches like that. I for one appreciated it. The neighborhood is the perfect base for a stay in London. I will definitely look to stay here when I come back.

We stayed n 3 hotels during our 8 days in London and this was the least expensive hotel and we rated it the highest lovely rooms breakfast n staff- fabulous location!!

We had a wonderful time at the Bailey's in London. The hotel is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and local sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!!

This was a lovely historic hotel. I enjoyed the ambiance and the convenient location. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I do wish there would have been a computer or two for guests to use for various needs including airline info etc. A bit more storage in the hotel room itself would have been appreciated. As a female traveler, many of my business items required ironing.

This hotel was definitely a great choice. Nice staff, cozy lobby, not too crowded but enough going on for some great people watching. The location was wonderful, close to the tube but lots restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Would come back again!

The hotel was great and in a good location. The underground was right across the street. They served a nice breakfast and had a very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location which was close to bus stop and tube was just across from the hotel. Friendly staffs with cheerful attitude. Room was spacious and clean.

GOOD STAFF, OLD FORNITURE AND IT IS NOT CONFORTABLE ROOM.

Internet sure be included. The staff was great. Room service was fast.

The Millennium Bailey is in my top 5 hotels, worldwide. The staff is superfriendly, the rooms are lovely, and the location (once Piccadilly is back to stopping at Gloucester Road) is perfect.

The minute I stepped on the first step of millennium bailey hotel I was greeted with a smile. The service was amazing from beginning to end!! The hotel is in the perfect spot amongst very trendy boutiques, fabulous patisseries, and the tube. It was my mother and I very first time to London and we did not want to leave. If you are a fan of historic buildings please book at Millennium Bailey Hotel!! It's amazingly beautiful!! A special thanks to Sonny the concierge for booking our car service back to the airport! Every second of this trip was great.

We loved it! The room was small but clean and comfy. The location was great, literally across from the train station. We took trains to Kew Gardens, other parts of town--very easy. The internet was not included so we paid to get internet and the use of the lounge, whioch was good. The best thing was the staff--they couldn't do enough for us. So great!

We stopped at the Bailey's on our way to Paris and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The room is very small so it would be difficult to spend long periods of time in the room. Very close to the tube.

Beautiful Hotel Nice size rooms Staff were helpfull

This is an older hotel under some renovation that did not interfere with anyone. GREAT location! Kensington is eligant with many dining, museum and shopping options. Close to Harrod's. Best of all the hotel is literately accross the street from the Glouster Road station for the tube. Go anywhere in minutes. Would definitely stay again.
