I'm a fairly regular business traveller and need easy access to Bank station. The great thing about this hotel is it's reasonably priced, free parking and 2 nearby stations for the city. Only 5 minutes walk to the Northern line and 30 minutes later where I need to be. On this occasion, for some reason, I thought I had booked but hadn't. Luckily the staff put me in an upgraded room, thank you. They also let me stay parked whilst I got my meetings done, so double thanks. See you again soon.
The acoustics are really poor. The adjacent room occupants made a noise till the early hours of the morning and we could hear every word. Despite our calls to reception, Management were unable to keep them quiet
We booked the Antoinette through Expedia and were more than pleasantly surprised with our visit. The hotel is in a superb location for the New Wimbledon Theatre, yet a peaceful place to rest at the same time. Staff on reception were friendly and welcoming, making us feel nothing would be too much trouble. Our hotel room (executive double) was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with facilities and refreshments. Cleanliness was of a very high standard with fresh linen available daily, We also enjoyed a fantastic meal and cocktails in the Lambourne where we were given outstanding service. Absolutely lovely place to stay and most certainly value for money. Have recommended to several people already!
Will use again and would recommend. Noise from a party or reception until 2am in the morning was a problem. Other wise staff, cleanliness, food all good. Car park space was also a key factor in booking here.
This was a return visit to visit my daughter locally. The hotel is well situated, with convenient on site parking, right by a bus stop. The Reception team are very helpful, and the breakfasts excellent, and beautifully set out. My single room was warm and well equipped. I spent a comfortable three nights here. As a single traveller, I felt secure and cared for.
Great stay in large clean room, with a comfy bed, full size bathroom with bath. Convenient for tube ( 7mins. walk to south Wimbledon for Northern line, which we used to get to London zoo.) Worth upgrading for room at the back with a balcony for a quite night.
Stayed here over a weekend while attending a Concert at the Wimbledon New Theatre. Great experience with friendly welcoming reception staff who facilitated early bag drop off. Hotel is modern, well maintained and very clean. Room allocated was very spacious and located in a quiet area of the hotel away from street noise. Bar facilities were small, cosy with attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again....approx. 10 minute walk from Tube stations, either Wimbledon or South Wimbledon. Locality is safe, clean and has varied dining with pubs.
We arrived late afternoon and luckily we got a parking space. The main reception area is pleasantly decorated, we were greeted professionally and checking in only took a few minutes. Our room was on the first floor, we could take the lift or use the stairs. We choose to go via the stairs, as it is always important to suss out if needed in an emergency. Corridors had notices on the walls, wet paint, truthfully it didn't smell too much. Our room was an executive room, very basic I thought but very clean. The wardrobe space could only take a few items hanging up, so if you were staying more than a few days and had several outfits and coats, tough! Bottle of water or two would of gone done well, being an executive room. The following morning we had breakfast, which was standard, self serve cold and hot food. No option to be served fresh coffee or tea from the waitress, disappointing! Our overall stay was pleasant.
The room was small but clean and acceptable for a short stay. Little bit more variety on the continental breakfast would have been nice. All in all satisfactory and friendly service. No reason not to go there again.
We stayed here last October to visit our daughter and take a trip into Central London. Reasonably priced and easy to take the tube from Wimbledon Station. Although our room was overlooking the road, there was little street noise, but it was a Sunday night. Room was small but fitted our needs. We would definitely stay here again if in the area,
