Crowne Plaza London - Kings Cross

Staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. Very clean in all areas and located by plenty of public transportation.

Crowne Plaza is incredibly consist worldwide. Not consistently good, but consistently OK. It's strength is that it varies very little. The location at Kings Cross is in line, except that the maid service was laughably bad. Every day something was missed -- dirty dishes left in the room, no coffee refill, no towels.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Wifi speed good, Restaurant serves great food, my salmon risotto was excellent. The room rate is also good for london standard. Even though the hotel is not very close to the tube and train station, but it can be access in less than 10 minutes walking or by bus to king's cross or Russell square station. My wife and I stayed for 13 nights and we had enjoyed it.

The hotel was in walking distance to attractions. Which I liked. The staff at the front was wonderful and very helpful.

Great location, very close to Kings Cross Station which is central to Lodon and has access to all underground lines.

The staff were so helpful. Stayed at the end of a long vacation and really appreciated the little "extra" welcome that we received

Away from the tube stops Not very convenient Hotel concierege as not knowledgable about the london tours 3 days they claimex that their system qas down and I did not even receive a proper paper bill or email bill

The overall rating of the hotel was okay. But the hotel staff needs lots of work. M. Megova was not the friendly is person. Need help from M. Megova and she pass me to her colleague but the colleague was too busy to help. So had to wait for the colleague to finish up with too guess. While M. Megova was doing something on the computer. She needs to know that guess come first and not last. Jason the bellboy was on point. He saw what M. Megova did and he apologized for her. Jason did make are stay welcome. He's a keeper. I would thank twice about M. Megova.

Dropped our bags off at 9am before 2pm check in and kept our bags after checkout on last day too. Very accommodating staff and updated bedrooms with a hair dryer and wifi etc. very nice for 4 generations of guests!

Everyone was very nice but they don't offer breakfast.

I always stay in Holiday Inns for the pool; they usually have modern, clean, well designed rooms for a reasonable price. However, this one was overpriced, and had some problems. The bathrooms have been "renovated" to feature a shower with a half-glass door that does not contain the water, resulting in water spraying over the floor. Annoying and a slip hazard. We were on the 3rd floor, and only 1 of 2 elevators stops there, resulting in very long waits. The Wifi was so slow as to be essentially unusable. Excellent breakfast buffet. Next time I'll skip the pool and stay in a better priced Holiday Inn.

Would stay again. Pool and sauna are available for an additional fee. This was not clearly stated and was disappointing! Overall clean and pleasant.

My daughters, ages 28 and 25, and I went to visit London to learn about British history, visit the tourist spots, etc. We chose the Holiday Inn since it was the only hotel that pictured two double beds. When my [...] travel information was emailed to me, it appeared that there would only be one double bed and a sofa bed for the third person. When we arrived at the hotel I explained that I saw pictures of two double beds when booking and hotel girl was very nice to accomodate us right away. Overall the hotel was very clean and service was fine. Our only complaint was that it was too far from "the tube". I knew when I booked the hotel that it was four or five blocks away, but after a day of touring/walking, the four or five blocks to get back to the hotel was a bit far. Also, we weren't sure about how safe the area was in the evening, though nothing ever happened to us. Next time, I would book a hotel closer to "the tube".

I would stay their again

For the terrible location and high price of this Hotal, we could have stayed somewhere much better.

The rooms were good, but I faced few issues with this hotel. First,i booked a non smoking room but got a smoking room instead. Their system says it is non smoking, but the room door says it is smoking! I had paid for the rooms thru orbitz, but they said i did not pay and was going to charge me again for the rooms! And when they gave me the final bill, they charged me for laundry which I never gave! They had a mix up and charged me instead of some other room. The hotel says there is wireless internet in rooms, but the room i stayed did not have any wireless reception. Good thing about the hotel are the rooms which are good and comfortable and a good indian restaurant in the ground floor. Also, this hotel is one of the pick up points for Stonehenge bus tours.

I realized on day 2 of our stay there was a mistake when I was told I owed for the room which I had pre-paid thru Orbitz. I asked 3 times for them to check into it & gave them copies of my p/w to NO AVAIL. On the morning of check-out I spoke to [...], the mgr and he was VERY RUDE and said they didn't have a contract with Orbitz and acted like it was my fault since it was 2 a.m. in the states and too late to call....very incompetent! The only rude people we encountered during our 2 week vacation were at the Holiday Inn-Kings Cross Bloomsbury. The rooms were plain, the bedspread was worn and it was a long walk to the tube station. However the concierge was the very helpful and competent, we loved WICKED!

warm welcome, serving staff, great food and a relaxing nite bar. had a problem with heat-resolved in 15 min. room service just great. really consider this one for in-town visit. Many eateries near by for local feel--pubs.
