All passengers flying on Delta can bring one carry-on item free of charge. Although there are no weight restrictions for carry-on items, your baggage may not exceed 22" x 14" x 9".
When flying economy on domestic and some international services, you’ll need to pay for any bags you want to put in the hold. Passengers on most international flights get at least one cabin bag for free when booking their journey. Delta has a weight limit of 50lb per bag for economy passengers. For those flying first class, Delta Premium Select and Delta One, the weight limit is 70lb per item and up to two bags can be taken for free on all flights.
When flying on domestic services, it’s recommended that you arrive at the Delta flight check-in desk at least two hours before departure. If you’re flying with checked baggage, make sure you’ve checked in at least an hour before your plane is due to take off. If you’re flying internationally, you should allow a little longer before your flight so try to be at the airport between three and four hours prior to departure.
The service you receive on your Delta flight will depend its length and destination. Meals and snacks are available on almost all flights and you’ll have access to a choice of entertainment options on most services. Delta has begun to introduce WiFi on many of its flights, helping you to stay connected when you’re 30,000 feet in the air.
