I stay at Apex every 5 months or so, usually bringing a couple of colleagues. There was a new front desk staff again. I went three times last year and between June and November there was a whole new staff and new software, they didn’t know I was a regular guest.
The elevator in the back area was out of order so had to use the service elevator. There’s usually one of the two front lobby elevators out and the bag lift/ handicap access has been unusable for years.
My first room had no power in the bathroom. I was moved to a smaller darker room. My colleague arrived and I saw her in the elevator - she was unable to get into her room as the key cards weren’t activated. She was wheeling her luggage back to the desk.
I’m usually there in March every year for a week with several colleagues from US, EU and UK - I moved hotels now in 2026 for the first time since 2014.
Apex has good amenities. The seating area is quiet and comfortable, there are desks for working collaboratively and an on site restaurant is always a plus.
