Very nice upscale hotel!! Very close to tower !

Started off a bit rough after a long journey with 2 teenagers. Arrived at Heathrow and took the tube. We arrived early and they were able to store our bags while we got some lunch. I booked a big family room for us since this was a special occasion and it was a splurge. Room was ready a bit early - but when we got it- it was not the room I had booked for the expensive price per night. It was a standard room and old. Front desk kind of gave me a hard time and then gave us another room … but AC was not working and it was very hot out. We stayed in a smaller room the 1st night - and then they were able to move us to the room we had booked. We had to move to 3 different rooms- but in the end it all worked out and they were nice to treat us to breakfast the first morning. Once we were in the final room it was wonderful!! Modern and clean- and big enough to unpack for the 4 of us. Kids had their own sofa bed and tv…. Lobby was beautiful and the lampery bar and cocktail area was very nice to hang out and relax after a long day of walking. Very upscale hotel and it was a great location right by the Tower of London. Great pubs nearby and the tube stop was a 4 min walk. We loved it!!
