I have used Citizen M for years. Sadly recently they have been taken over by Marriott.
What made Citizen M so special was their independence and customer satisfaction.
Already, you can see a change in customer service. In the past, they would allow early check-in if room was ready, usually give a complimentary drink at the bar, but not anymore. Marrriott policy says no.
In the room, only in the night did I realise that there was no glass in the room, so getting some water was very difficult.
The sink unit was tired - one panel broken and pushed in, scuff marks and chipped edges.
The showergel was less than 25% full - clearly not refilled.
Citizen M - up your game, otherwise you won’t survive.
