Location - The flat is located in Queen's Park is a leafy village in Central London. The flat's prime location features: -Located in the historic and storied City of Westminster – the same borough as Buckingham Palace; -Nearby shops (including an upscale M&S grocery store almost within sight of the flat!), pubs, cafes, restaurants, a royal park, and Britain's best Sunday farmers market; - easy transport links to Underground, Overground, trains, and buses (9 nearby bus routes and a stop across the street) - most importantly: it is SAFE! Neither we nor any of my guests have ever had a problem in this area.
Getting around - Previous guests have commented on the ease and number of transport options from the flat. All London airports are approximately one hour away. - Queen's Park Station is less than 5 minutes away and provides Overground and Tube (Bakerloo) services. Quick access - only 11 minutes - to the city center or main rail stations (Euston, Marylebone, West Hampstead, Victoria, or Paddington). - Numerous bus routes are available within a couple minutes walk. - Reserved parking options subject to availability - please inquire first.

My friend and I just returned from our London vacation and our experience staying at this wonderful flat has been exceptional even before we arrived. As Americans you wonder how you will adapt in a foreign country. Nicole put those anxieties to rest. She was extremely responsive to all of our questions even before we arrived. Well in advance she offered suggestions to getting around London by letting us know the closest grocery stores and favored dining spots. She also let us know which app to use for the Tube and which tubes to take for the various attractions we had booked in advance to our trip. Once we realized the Tube was on strike, she helped us navigate the bus system. Her recommendation of the CityMapper App was our salvation. We felt safe and it was with in walking distance to the tube and even closer to bus stops. The flat was beautiful, clean and decorated very nicely, with a Scandinavian feel to it. It truly felt like a retreat, especially after our very long days and crowded bus rides. We enjoyed coming "home". Nicole and her husband were spectacular hosts.

Very clean, nice property. Host was very responsive and check in instructions were very detailed and easy. It was hot and the bedroom windows wouldn’t open, so the first night was uncomfortable. We learned to open the window in the main room until the house cooled off, and that solved the issue. Didn’t want to leave that window open all night as it faced the street. The king bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay!

Victorian Home, Modern Conveniences
This property is a great place to land after a busy day of sightseeing. You can grab some prepared food from M&S as you exit the underground and walk just a couple blocks more to the flat. The building is old, however the kitchen and bathroom have been completely updated. I promise that you'll appreciate the size of the shower/bathtub.They're are Murphy bus stops in the area or a 5 minute walks to the Queen's Park tube stain make it easy to get where you need to go. It is a bit farther out so just factor that into your scheduling. However, if us about one-ish mile from Notting Hill/Portobello Road, area. Its quite an easy walk and takes you through some fun neighborhoods. You'll feel like a local!Communicatimg with Nicole was a pleasure. I think she may sleep work the VRBO app open because she even responded in the middle of the night. We had a minor wobble when we arrived, but i knew it would be okay because Nicole is so conscientious and speedy with her replies. We appreciated our time at this flat and the opportunity to get away from the tourist areas and live like a Londoner for a few days.

Great place!
This place was perfect for us! Most importantly, it was a great location - short walk to tube and food shopping. The flat/apartment itself was very nice - kitchen and bathroom especially. Both were very recently remodelled and beautiful. The host was great and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely flat for family vacation to London
My family vacationed in London for 10 days and this flat was our home base. The checkin/checkout instructions were easy to follow. This cute flat was clean and provided the space and comforts of home. The neighborhood’s quiet and the neighbors are so friendly. Another benefit of this rental is the wonderful host, Nicole. Nicole was communicative from the initial inquiry through our entire stay. Nicole also provided several meal and travel recommendations and promptly addressed any questions and requests. 10 minute walk to tube to get into London central for the sites. Very good responsive owners. Clean, well equipped, but could use more operable fans (we were there in a rare London heat wave). Limited floor space for dealing with open luggage for 5.

Lovely home with lots of comforts.
Everything was easy to find. The location was great for visiting the Golden Circle and Ring Road sights. Be careful on the steps to the basement, but the handrails going upstairs make it a safe climb.

This was a great spot for us on our short time in London. Communication and helpfulness of the host were excellent. And, the property was mostly what it was advertised to be. The only challenge for us was parking. The listing noted parking available. However, a permit is required from 8;00am - 6:30pm. Which we did not have.The app at the nearby lot, to pay, was not working. So, we ended up having to drive into town, and park wherever we were headed for the day, rather than public transit into Central London, as planned. That being said, the host was extremely helpful in trying to find something that worked for us. And, the drive to Stonehenge and Bath was worth having the car.

Nice flat with easy access to local eats, tube, and bus
A nice flat with the basics of what you might need. It’s a roomy ground floor unit. The kitchen is well furnished, and the other rooms have the basic furnishings. Our host was very helpful and communicative - she gets five stars for sure. The building was under renovation while we were there, but it didn’t disrupt our stay.
We enjoyed the neighborhood and the local restaurants. The Salusbury is incredible. Go there and go there again!

Average stay
The home was plain (obvious staged a bit more in photos). Door to exterior was through very small second bedroom and no cushions for the outdoor seating. Hall lights didn’t work and no lamps for reading in the evenings- just overhead lights. The kitchen is a small room off the hall, which wasn’t ideal and there was left over food from previous renters in the cupboards which was not appealing. (Have used box of cornflakes, open half used bag of pasta etc). The owner was confused and checked us into one of their other properties in error one street over from where we were actually booked. Too bad- the first location was lovely and so our spot even more disappointing. Owner also sent a note for steps to checkout advising cleaners would be at our place at 10- but had to correct her again that in fact we had another day before we were leaving!! It was okay- but wouldn’t stay in this flat again.
