Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Especially 2 Joanna's and Rajan from reception. The security Valery help me with my luggages and guide to my room. The hotel location is great. You can go to the city centre by bus, just 2min walk to the bus stop.
Stayed at this hotel for the weekend, the reception service was poor and they had attitude, the room need a map to find, it was small, you could hear the traffic noise all night as it is situated on a main road. I stayed in a only fools and horses room, the clock did not work the hands were bent, the room was tiny, no draws to put any underwear away, just an open hanging space with no doors, very poor for the price.
Nice, fresh modern rooms. Staff are lovely and helpful. Our room was quite small however was fine for what we needed it for. We stayed for 3 nights and were recovering from jet lag for most of it. Close to public transport, Peckham rye is the closest national rail, elephant and castle is the closest underground which you can walk from from takes approx 30 mins. Bus stop right outside, supermarket close by. The restaurant mainly serves pizza but they are amazing and breakfast is good for £7.50 For full cooked breakfast and buffet. We walked to Buckingham palace and Big Ben from the hotel. 40 mins from Camden markets in car. Has wifi which works well and all the rooms are lovely and clean.
The design and the architecture attracts the eye by simply passing in front of it, you wont miss it. As for the rooms, the corridors, the lobby and every space in the hotel... I found them very clean, carefully decorated with excellent arrangement which makes it a cozy environment, excellent when returning from a city walk. The staff is simply one of the best I have seen. They are very organized and will always assist with a big smile.
Having encountered one or two issues with the hotel I have to say that the Manager Dhiren Gautam went out of his way to Listen - understand- and Respond! Having been moved to one of the newly refurbished rooms I encountered a very different scenario and enjoyed a more than comfortable stay . The place is in the process of an update and I feel certain that the cosmetic improvements will make a huge difference . The manager has a very ' hands on ' proactive approach and this rubs off on his staff in a positive way . Although the distance out from central London appears a bit limiting it's actually not too bad and the hotel is really close to good bus links . I would certainly return again .
Basement room strong smell of bleach, this turned out to be a severe problem with the drainage that appears to have been ongoing and a bigger problem. No one advised of any concerns. But by late evening the stench from the ensuite was absolutely "foul." Unfortunately in the morning I found the kitchen also located in the basement had been flooded. However, one of the staff mentioned that "every time it rains this happens" so only a Continental breakfast available.
The first room we were offered was very small and NO WINDOW. Ok, there was a skylight, but in case of emergency, I'm not sure that counts as a way to get out, if needed. There was just enough walking space between the bed and wall and no way to get to the other side of the bed as it was against the other wall. The a/c was barely working. I asked if that was a double, and was told it was and that their singles were much smaller. I'm not sure how much smaller you can get. We were offered another room that at least had access to the bed from both sides and a little more walking space in the room, and a window. Unfortunately, I left my jacket in the room, and even after several attempts to contact the hotel and going back over there, was unable to get my jacket back. We were only there for one night as we were relocated there due to issues and overbooking of our chosen hotel. The price for the one night was almost half of what we paid for 4 nights at another hotel and a slightly larger room. The only plus it had was a/c which would have been nice during the week we were there.
It was a good place to stay. Had security. It was clean and a good price. I stayed in the smallest room, I believe. But it worked just fine. Window wasn't significant. If you want a window to look out, get a bigger room. I was really tired and left my room cluttered and money laying around. The room was cleaned and straightened up. All of my money left out in the open was still there too. Bus stop close by and had over 3 routes. Overground close too. I will stay there again.
Stayed here to go to a concert at the O2 arena, rooms only £65 in advance, but really quite small. Very clean and great for one night , would be a struggle to stay much longer in such a small room but they do have larger ones that weren't that much more if space is what you want. If getting the train make sure you get off at Peckham Rye, its only a few minutes walk to the hotel. Only Fools and Horses themed, friendly and helpful staff, would recommend.
my stay here was amazing from the first day I came staff where welcoming always checking up on me and my family seeing if everything was ok , the room quality is excellent, the food we was provided with was nice we had no problems during are stay
