Stayed here for work. Service from all staff from check in to the bar was fantastic. The rooms are functional but very comfortable. Special mention to the amazing breakfast. The pancake machine is worth the stay alone. I'm definitely hoping to return soon.
Excellent hotel in excellent neighborhood. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Highly recommended. I will be returning to this hotel next year, and also getting rooms for my wedding guests. The river walk (two minute walk away) was great.
On a hectic business trip, with cancelled flights extended meetings and all in all a London nightmare. What a pleasure to have kind and understanding staff who make it their business to make your stay a pleasure. 5 stars for the staff. Only comment privacy net curtains would be nice in the rooms. thank you.
The room was nice, the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. It definitely wasn't the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It is a little loud if you're in a room on one of the lower levels facing the street. The location great for local travel, being walking distance to the Imperial Wharf Overground station. There is also a Tessco Express located directly across the street.
This is a nice hotel with great staff. While not centrally located it is an alternative to the huddle and bustle and expense of busy London. Easy to get around just have to plan a few extra mins. Staff very friendly and was a superb value. I will stay again. Thank you!
This was my first time in DT Chelsea but probably not the last one. Hotel is slightly off the normal routes as so might not be appealing but it fact it is only 15 mins away from Fulham Broadway tube station and Chelsea Stadium. The neighborhood is modern residential area and it is really quiet in the evening so you can sleep with windows open - which is extra benefit not always available in hotels :)
I have recently stayed in this hotel, and we will remember it for a very long time it was fantastic. The hotel was perfect in such a great location near everything, great transport links. The Breakfast in the morning was lovely had everything you would want with lots of choice. I was most impressed with the managers attitude towards welcoming us and going out of his way to make sure our stay was as special as it could be. He was absolutely wonderful at his job and I can see exactly why he has the role of a manager!
After staying here when going to show in London, it was so easy to pick this hotel to stay at again when visiting London a few weeks later. It is so easy to get to - being the shortest walk from Imperial Wharf station - manageable for even the heaviest of suitcases! You are greeted by an incredibly friendly reception team (thanks to Karina on my first visit and Aitor on my second) who made check in easy and painless. The greeting cookie helps also! Karina overheard me telling my friend how I had forgotten my toothbrush and quickly offered a complimentary one which saved me the embarrassment of stinky breath! The room was quiet (very confused by the reviews saying otherwise!) and a comfortable bed. I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow, and the air conditioning really helped. I had breakfast at the hotel on both visits. After the first visit I Literally went to bed excited about breakfast! Wonderful buffet - including hot food (sausages, bacon, fried eggs, delicious hash browns) , waffles with cream and strawberries (!!), a pancake machine which dispenses hot american style pancakes, fruits, cereals etc. I was in heaven! There was also table service delivering coffee and juice refills which was a lovely touch I would highly recommend, as the service and breakfast (can I come back every morning for breakfast please?) is such good value. Really impressed! Thanks Double Tree, I really hope to see you again soon!
I really enjoy this hotel. From the friendliness of the staff and the welcome chocolate cookie, to the cleanness of the room and the comfort of the bed (really important after meetings), it is a great place. I also enjoy the access to the city as it is really conveniently located at Imperial Wharf.
The bed in the room was so short that my feet stick out (I am 178cm) and i was so cold in the night. Noise made by house keeping was bad as well. The housekeeping doesn't know he to clean quietly and not disturb clients.
