The property is wonderful. It seemed like it was just renovated so the majority of the space was stunning. The common hallways and rooms still need a little more sprucing up to match what is done in the main areas. Awesome lounge chairs, pool, restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating areas and bars, music outside under the pavilion, rental beach umbrellas & lounge chairs, Starbucks, Gelato, self serve elaborate snacking little store, business center, shuttle service… really kind and engaging staff throughout. It was an a pleasure staying there and I’ll come back. The only reason for the 4 star is just the common area and rooms felt like they needed a little more updating to match the rest of the space. The views in the outside eating spaces are incredible and being right on the beach with a pool was fantastic.

Checked me in as another guest, in spite of having my DL and credit card. I insisted the room was not as booked, while the agent politely insisted I had been upgraded ( not me ).I had booked an ocean view room. Understandably, the lobby was packed with Thanksgiving diners, and live music. Easy to do! The hotel did not offer an apology or small gesture for the inconvenience. Surprised me.

The Beach view was the best part, but advertisement show the room sleeps 5 with only one bed and a full couch. The toilet also kept getting clogged even with simple flushes until they awkwardly have to call in for housekeeping who stated that it’s a known plumbing issue. The reception said that they would take off parking charges to compensate which was $20 a night for two nights. They also said they couldn’t do anything more because it was booked under third-party. overall it didn’t spoil our vacation but it did made it uncomfortable enough.

The first room we were put in was 404 with a balcony. unfortunately the moment you stepped out onto the balcony you were met with the overwhelmingly stong odor of propane. We went back inside and got ready to go out onto the beach. When we arrived back in the late afternoon, we decided to order room service. We tried to order but the phone did not work, so my husband went down to the restaurant and was told they had a meeting at 4 pm and were told they woudl not be cookign from the dinner menu! Saturday evening, the Crown plaza, the most expensive hotel in Brevard county, and no dinner. Just appetizers! 3 appetizers, and a room service charge aleviated my pocket of 73.00 He ran ionto a manitence worker on the way back after placing the orerthen inquired about the pungent propane smell and was told it was the pool heater. At this point we went down and requested to be moved to a new room. They put us in 718. All I can say is if the oder was bad on the 4th floor balcony it was NOTHING compared to the entire 7th floor. As soon as you stepped off the elevator, you were smacked in the face with it. He went down again and asked about the saftey of this situation and was told it was the dryers, and they fire dept had been called and deemed it safe. Inside the room was not terrible and out ont he balcony was clear and fresh but WOAH, that was awful. We had to go back down at 10 and get snacks and a wrap from the front because we were still hungy. ( another 22 dollars.)

Good hotel, but for me, parking situation was messy. The main parking lot is across a busy street with access by the fire department to park. There is a walking bridge over the road back to the hotel whch was a PIA. The other option is to pay 20 dollars for vallet parking.

Everything was top-notch! Originally booked for beach access and was not disappointed. Breakfast or lunch, Longboards Bar & Grill was excellent. The staff was VERY friendly, and provided info to see 3 rocket launches, on 2 different nights, the night launches were spectacular! A great location!, I highly recommend!

The room was clean and I appreciated that the front desk texted me a couple of times a day to ask if I needed Anything. This never happens at other hotels. Usually I am the one hunting down extra towels but they were very accommodating and cared how my stay was.
