Gora Kadan

Fantastic Onsen hotel experience with Ofuro

We were assigned a personal attendant throughout our stay - taking care of our meals, shiatsu massage, and transportation. Our room, with private patio and outdoor hot spring Ofuro, was super spacious and comfortable. The meals were all excellent. The public outdoor Ofuro were also fantastic in setting and in size.

Hotel Okada

Fantastic hotel room but...

Our Senyu room was unbelievably wonderful but the hotel itself needs an upgrade. If you're looking at getting dinner at the property, please do Japanese style instead of buffet. Buffet food was abundant but quality was not very good.

Laforet Club Hakone Gora Yunosumika

Best hotel we stayed at in Japan!

Loved the cleanliness (you have to take your shoes off when you get to the hotel and they wipe down your luggage!) and the cozy feeling of this place. Our private in-room onsen was amazing! The food at the restaurant was fun fusion-style. Such a nice and relaxing getaway in the middle of our trip to Japan - the BEST pillows we have ever slept on (we even asked the staff if they were available for purchase, but sadly they were not)! Wish we had stayed longer! We would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to be back!

Not all of Hakone's attractions are indoors. Spend some time at Hakone Gora Park. Visiting Miyanoshita Onsen, too, is a good way to get outside.
