The hotel appears to be under renovations, so dust and equipment is expected. However the cleanliness of the hotel was awful. The front desk attendant reeked of weed, but he was friendly during check in. When getting to the rooms, out floors were filthy. Dirty qtips and smashes skittles on the floor. Nothing appeared to be wiped down or cleaned. The shower curtain was broken and did not fit the shower, so the entire bathroom flooded when turning on the shower. It was not a pleasant experience.
Great hotel! Bed was super comfy and clean! Staff was friendly! We will stay again.

My sisters and I booked a room total of 3, my nephew was having a varsity game in Shiner,Tx, but we found great price and nice looking hotel to be in Gonzalez. We experience friendly people through out our stay. From front counter, owners, breakfast staff, and cleaning staff. Breakfast had a nice variety of choices for my family. The beds very comfy and shower was excellent. We enjoyed our stay all the way around.
On walking in, I was surprised how big the room was. Plenty of space to relax and rest up. The only complaint I have though not a biggie, is that the microwave was noisy, but only used it for less than 5 minutes. The breakfast area is small but they pack in lots of options. That morning they had waffles, eggs, sausage, kolaches, oatmeal, cereal, grits, juice, tea, coffee,toast. Again, surprised to see such variety.
Nice little hotel we stayed at while participating in the Shiner Beer Run. Hot breakfast was good. Desk personnel were helpful in locating dining options in the area.
I think we may have been the first to sleep in the room. Very nice and I sllept like a baby.
