GOOD CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WITH QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. GOOD PARKING IN A SMALL TOWN. CONVENIENT TO MANY THINGS ANYONE COULD WANT.

Outside of the hotel was in disrepair. The room itself had a microwave, mini-fridge, and a hair dryer. There were a few end tables and a desk to round out the furniture. Felt nicer than just a bed and tv which some other hotels provide. Continental breakfast was a nice addition.

They took great care of me during my nightly convention.

It was excellent, very clean, very nice workers there. it was very close to the beach. the hotel made us feel safe. we loved the breakfast was excellent.

Room was clean, inexpensive, staff was nice,it was quiet I was traveling alone and I felt safe there

Room smelled very musky couldnt underdtand staff. Very overpriced

First, the staff is very pleasant and kind. The room was clean upon first glance. Only a few minor issues like the coffee carafe was missing, there were a few holes in the comforter, and the pillows were very flat. The bathroom and tub were super clean. I've stayed in alot of hotels and can say that this was the cleanest bathroom. The room could use some minor updating, but overall was a very pleasant experience.

Check in person was extremely rude, things looked good on surface but not when in use. Shower head kept falling off, room was stinky, hot and all appliances, including lights were unplugged.

Was easy to find. Bill taken care of with no hassle. Great bed. Big and soft. Had friendly staff. Good coffee in room.Very good night.

We booked here because the other hotels in the area wanted $200+ for a night while this one was $85. The room was small, just enough room between the bed and the tv stand to squeeze through and get to the bathroom. The room also had a strange odor to it, nothing too bad, a bottle of Febreze took care of it. If you are just staying the night in the Galveston area and not looking for anything special or amenities, this is your place if you are trying to watch your budget.

The staff was nice and courteous. The room didn't seem so bad at first until we turned down the A/C, then there was a musty smell that didn't go away. We brought our tablet PC to check out stuff in Galveston and couldn't log on, the staff didn't understand that because they had no trouble logging on in the office. We had to bring the PC to them to show them that it wasn't working. My husband and I both are PC Techs so it wasn't that we just didn't know how to use the WIFI. We finally got the WIFI the day we checked out, no need for it then. There were only 8-10 channels to watch on the TV, it was a good thing we weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the room.

It is a longer drive from Galveston than expected. New paint on everything but still didn't feel as clean as i thought it should have been.

The stau at the Lamarque Super8 was great

When we got to the hotel the rooms were clean but was very hot and smelled horrible mold. The rest room there was no shower curtain. I was not able to take a relaxing shower because the water was splatering all over the floor. We called the front desk and asked for a shower curtain the clerk said they did not have a curtain until 1 a.m. They could have offered another room but did not. There was no pool.

The motel8 was ok,but Idon't like the blanket. It was realy hard and on the breackfast i think they need to extend the hours because were suppose to go relax to start the day off good. We also couldnt understand the guy in the phone that gave us the directions to the hotel.

Super 8 Motel - La Marque The hoel was not that comfortable , the room was samll, the air condition would turn off constantly by it self with out being on the energy saver. the room had a mildew ordor that would not go away, also there were no restaurants close by we would have to drive down about 8 to 10 miles . Over all this hotel was a 2 on a scale of 1-4, 4 being great and 2 being somewhat ok. Sorry to say but we will never stay in a super 8 motel again.
