Great location, friendly staff, clean and spacious room.

Staff was very friendly. I would certainly stay there again.

Stain and bubbled wallpaper from AC leak. Smelled of mildew. No mini fridge in room. Bed not comfortable; mattress not in good shape.

Gainesville is the perfect getaway from South Florida. Visiting the UF campus is always a treat and the Hilton is perfect for doing such. The hotel was very accommodating as we had our 60lb dog with us and left him in the room on occasion with the do not disturb.

It is a beautiful location, very nice and comfy hotel. The internet connection for Hilton is now handled by ATT-U-verse and that is terrible! I am Hilton Honors member, and after 3 minutes of my 1st login, the system kicked me out, and I never allowed me to login again.

We had made these reservations in advance specifically to reserve a handicap room for my father who is strictly wheelchair bound. Drove 6 hours, showed up to learn our room was already given to another party and we had to be put in a regular room. My father fell out of the bed since it did not have a bar so we had to put him on the floor to sleep. He could not shower since we did not have the wheel-in shower access like we reserved. So we had to give him a "birdbath" He could not reach the sink and had to be held while sitting on the toilet. We were apologized to and offered some lunch vouchers. Really? I would have much rather known my father was going to be safe than had a free sandwich. We could have made a stink about him falling out of bed but we didn't. If you think your room reservations are safe with this hotel think again! Just an awful experience...

A great overnight rest stop for us. After a day of traveling this was the perfect spot to stay.

Comfortable hotel, spacious rooms, excellent beds. Room had an odd smell. Great gym. Staff was friendly, but should be more on the ball ad this kind of first class hotel.

I'm always nervous about hotels that allow dogs. But the staff was very accepting of my dog and very helpful, courteous. I was alittle nervous bringing him in because the lobby was so ornate, but the hotel made me feel very welcome. It seems there is specific floors for guests with pets, but the room was very clean and we loved the soft bed and those sheets!!! This hotel will definitely stay at top of my list anytime I'm in Gainsville.

Nice Hotel and great location. A little pricey, however, the room was very clean and the bed comfortable.

Nice room, very comfortable bed, reasonable room service

The hotel location, great. Had trouble trying to confirm the reservation in two different ocassions. For some unknown reason, the personnel at the reervation desk, were having difficulties in locating my reservation. In one of the occassions that I contacted the hotel reservation desk to re-confirm the reservation, I had to call an operator from [...]and asked this person to contact the hotel reservation desk to make sure my reservation was effective. To my oppinion, the hotel was over-priced.

Nice, but older hotel. It was just okay. Good in and out, stay the night local.

My husband and I went to great Event at Fiji Fraternity at UF in Gainesville. I have a beautiful son studying there. It was a great weekend! The Brunch was at the Hilton on Saturday morning and everybody loved it! We hope to go next year again and to stay at Hilton University of Florida! Sincerely Rosinete F.B.Cordeiro

Great hotel. Close to campus. Great buffet in the morning for breakfast.

Very nice hotel. High food prices for area. Standard room for higher prices

I was in town for a review. Great location, easy access.

We had an overall good experience. There were some problems with elevators not working, no ice machine on our floor and the door to our room not closing properly. Some were due to renovations, but some were not. The room was very nice and the location was fantastic for UF families. I do wish there was a more convenient dining option in the morning (ie. breakfast buffet or coffee bar in the room.) Our a.m. room service was not correct and we were charged for the correction. Other than minor things, the overall stay was great. I would definately stay again as I don't think the problems we encountered were a good representation of this hotel.

I have no complaints, everything was just as it should be.
