I like ease of checkin and access to my room cause of a bad back and this was exactly what i needed
Property is not updated, room smelled musty, refrigerator compressor was loud enough to disturb sleep

The lobby for late check in was very small and there were multiple people trying to check in at the same time. They were standing in the cold. You had to give $25 in cash deposit and then when you checked out the cleaning staff checked your room and then you got your $25 back. I’m a business traveler so I expected more professionalism, but maybe people steal from this establishment so their rules are strict.
The staff was very friendly and any issues was dealt with very quickly. I like the fact that they had a male on evening shift for safety issues.
Very conveniently located halfway between New Orleans and Detroit which I frequently travel by car between. Super easy on and off the freeway with a hugely convenient truck stop right next door.

Check in rung the bell bunch of times lady comes out she was washing her hair. Not friendly. Took her long time too check me in. Room was crappy blankets and towels were rough. They hadn’t changed the toilet paper roll. It smelled bad.
It was convenient to everything I wanted to do and places I wanted to go.
Very clean, good price. Wish the breakfast was a hot breakfast but for continental, it was more than most places offer.

The Orbitz app does not make it simple to choose a non-smoking room, which is my greatest complaint about this hotel. The hotel staff lent me a spray to help with the smell, and that helped a lot.

Booked several months ago for first floor, non smoking room. Was stuck in a smoking room that reeked of cigarette smells. Ran next door to the Pilot station and bought freebreeze and Lysol. Didn't help. Supposedly they were booked and couldn't give us an appropriate room, but there was only a handful of cars in the parking lot. Wife's handicapped, so we were stuck. Won't return to this place.
