We are 6 persons travel so booked this resort because of advertise. It says 3 rooms, 3king beds. But as i saw the rooms i was dissappointed very much. It was not 3 king beds. One king, one queen and bunker bed. I showed orbitz advertise anf my booking info. But receptionists said "we don't have, it's weird. sorry" again and again. Nice resort but not nice persons.

Was expecting a condo with a full kitchen. We got a hotel style room, definitely not expecting that for the PRICE that we paid.

Very nice property but at first it was overwhelming. Coming in at Midnight though was hard to navigate to find our villa. Property maps should have more details (like street names). Helpful staff with lts of ammenities for the guests.

Room was nice, good view of the gulf and clean, but what was really exceptional was the overall friendliness of resort workers. Have been to other resorts where it felt like you were intruding in their world

It was great vacation and we will be staying here again pulled her excellent the views were great the people were nice and parking was not a hassle this was a very good vacation once we had the time to spend together

Stayed Beachside 2 for conference. Unfortunately, meeting was across a highway at Linkside Conference Center. Conference started every morning at 6:30 am, but Tram didn't start until 8 am which got me there by 9 am if I was lucky. Called bellman for ride, but they said they were too busy. Had to pay for cab or uber every day in order to get there on time (even though I was staying at resort)

After doing thorough research in where we would stay in Destin, I decided the Sandestin was going to be our best bet... And it was! We stayed at the Luau (idk if that's how u spell it) property and it was veeeeeery nice! I was surprised that it was legit a full one bedroom condo for such a low price ($180/night)... The only things I wished we had was room service, daily housekeeping, valet and concierge service. So without those amenities it really felt like we were "Living" in Destin and not just visiting. I had considered paying double per night to stay at the Hilton (which coincidentally is on the same property) just because it was a recognized chain. Happy I didn't, as I got to see one of the "suites" there and not only was it small in comparison to our condo but it smelt terribly musty! Be forewarned that the activities at the Baytowne Wharf were pretty lame and would probably only excite small children. Our 11 year old was not impressed lol. Although I have no plans to ever return to Destin, FL again, if I did go back I would definitely stay at the Sandestin's Luau property.

The resort itself had a lot to do and see. You can stay on the Bayside of the resort but still benefit from the beachside fun as well. Baytown and Marina (inside resort) is an awesome attraction. The resort is beautiful. I highly recommend.

Overall, this is a great property. It is very well maintained with fantastic views. My building, Bayside North, was a little dated and the carpet was a little stained. Other than that, it was very comfortable and everything worked. I would stay at this property again...I would most likely upgrade to a better building.

The stay was relaxing, the village food, games and entertainment was the best. The fireworks was the best!

Awesome stay. Staff exceptional! Room gorgeous! Clean, comfortable. Only issue at all the jacuzzi tub jets in room were nasty. Black slime came shooting out wasnt going to use it. Wished there was an outdoor hot tub somewhere. Recommended to family and friends

This place was great!!! So much to do there between their own beaches and golf as well as shopping at Baytowne. We will be staying here again.

great place to be with family. great location and clean

The hotel was simply just OK. There was nothing extraordinary about our accomodations. This resort is pretty basic yet they make you pay for everything even an extra set of towels. If I had known that, I would have opted for a chain hotel. It's situated pretty far off on the strip as well. The restaurants within vicinity were mediocre as well. I wouldn't stay here again and I'm thoroughly confused how they're rated the #1 resort unless they've rated themselves.

This hotel was rated as 4 star on your websitehowever, the accommodations were not quite up to par. Specifically, the bathroom shower was not only outdated, but the shower tile was slightly mildewed and the exhaust fan was full of dust. In addition to subpar bathroom, the desk in room was severely worn with discoloration along every side. I am very particular about the star rating in hotels and have never seen a room like this one rated a 4. Perhaps the resort gave me the worst in their inventory but it will definitely leave me with a less than favorable impression about the rest of the property

Long wait to check-in. Confusion getting rollaway bed, even though verified it over the phone before arrival. Microwave timer did not work. Trouble getting the shuttle to take you back to the hotel in the evening. Three in a row would not take to the bayside. the next one said no also - only serving beachside, but by that time there was over a whole bus full needing to go bayside and driver agreed to take us back. Many were sitting with others on their lap.

Beds are not made daily and trash are not taken out. When I called front desk they said that is not there policy. There is a $20 fee daily to have these done. The house keeping lady was nice to put new sheets and clean out trash anyways since I told her we were there for 4 days. There are no staff in the whole building only at the Welcome Center which is in the front of the resort. Front desk was not at all friendly just very robotic expression check-in and check-out. Not a Welcome remark or thank you for staying here or how can I help you. Will Not come here again. Will Not recommend. I travel every year around the USA and the world. I have many experiences staying at resorts and this was the worst resort.

Awesome. Better than expected and was extremely nice.

Amazing stay we had. Nice staff. Nice village. Excellent beach!

Pros: Very nice resort. Lots of amenities. Great location. Cons: No housekeeping. Poorly staffed.
