Check in clerk was not at desk because he was enjoying a funny cigarette break. When he came back to his post, he was very nice but he assigned me a room that hadn't been cleaned. It freaked me out because I thought someone was still in the room and it made me worry about security at this hotel. When I went back to the desk, he was not at his post again. I called the number of the manager at the hotel, but it rang at the front desk. I let it ring for a full minute, hoping someone would come answer it. At this point, I decided to just leave. Lo and behold, he was taking another funny cigarette break outside. He assigned me another room, upgraded at no extra charge, for my troubles. However, due to this experience, and the constant road noise from trucks, I will not be staying here again, nor would I recommend this hotel.

Very quiet after I went to my room I got a call from the front desk to see if everything was ok.

The location was horrible. The room was small and unclean. We were kept up all night by people be loud and obnoxious in the hallway. I asked for an extra pillow and was told there were none, so I was given an old smelly blanket. Staff was not very helpful.

Front desk staff was on cell phone, not friendly. When asked about dining options in area he said there are pizza places and fast food “out on the highway”. Room color was drab - had to ask for another bar of soap. Still had old type phones.

We were 4 people in the room. Room was clean but no extra blankets and only 3 pillows for each queen sized bed, kind of odd. In room telephone was not connected.

Room was on the small side (which is expected with this lodging chain) but everything seemed clean and there were no unpleasant orders (which seems to be an issue in many hotels/motels). The lighting in the room was nice ... bar lighting over the bed and over the desk/TV (some of the lighting was indirect ) created a nice ambiance and the ceiling spotlights provided additional lighting. Bed and pillows were OK. Bed somewhat bouncy but we slept well. Bathroom and shower was actually a decent size and the shower/tub was actually probably the largest in terms of width and height of the four places we stayed during this trip. HVAC worked well and provided the "white noise" we like in order to sleep. Found the room to be quiet even though it seemed the place was pretty close to full. Personally, I enjoyed the window seat which was padded and stretched for about 5.5 - 6.0 feet and had a back rest. The only negative was that the breakfast choices were a bit disappointing. Waffle maker, cold cereal, the small yogurt cups, the small muffins and breads, and bananas and apples (and red delicious apples, personally, not my favorite or even in my top ten). Mostly carb options. There was coffee, hot water, milk and orange juice as well (though my wife gave a thumbs down on the taste of the OJ). Overall, a good experience and would consider staying at this place again if ever happened to be in the area once more.

The room was very basic--no fridge, no microwave, yet very clean and comfortable. This is a no-frills place, even the breakfast is very basic. But it gets the job done at a reasonable rate!

Room was a bit cold when entering. Looked for thermostat for four minutes before seeing a very low wall unit under the window. Enjored sitting on the big cushion on the large window - very comfortable!

Highly disappointed in this hotel. Expensive for a dated, dark hotel. Awful lighting in rooms, no Wi-Fi, unprofessional staff. Left early even though we paid for 2 nights. Couldn't bear another night there.

Very clean hotel. Helpful staff. Quality breakfast. Will definitely be back.

The afternoon desk clerk made the stay worthwhile. He was kind, friendly and helpful. We had a two days our room was not cleaned. One day sheets just throw up on the bed the other day not cleaned at all. Called the desk clerk that time and he offered to bring us anything we needed and would discuss with the manager what had happened. We never heard from the manager as to why the room was not cleaned or even an apology for it happened. There were also no stoppers in the sink or bathtub. Spoke with evening desk clerk about it. She said maintenance was gone but she would check the vacant rooms but could not find any. The next day spoke with the desk clerk and he had one in our room when we returned.

Staff service is good...Quite place. Clean room. Asked for brush and toothpaste and got it right away

Went to West Chester for a soccer event. Upon arrival, the room was ice cold (colder than outside) because the heat was turned completely off. Once we got it cranking, the temp was good. Liked that they have coffee and hot water available all the time and the continental breakfast was ok. The shower pressure was good and the rooms were clean. Location to our event was key- it was only 5 mins away.
