Dirty, non working elevator, would not give sheets or pillow for pullout sofa, smelled musty. Clearly under construction.

Clean quiet pleasant staff

The lobby and common areas were not especially clean. The floors and elevator walls were dirty and streaked. The surfaces, phone, remote, alarm clock in the room were not recently wiped. In fact, the remote and phone had sticky dirt and dust on them. The shower was dripping, there was a loose tile on the bathroom floor and the door latch would not work as it was misaligned. During my stay, my friend's key card needed to be reset due to a computer issue, apparently, and after having a second issue was able to use it slide it into the door jamb and open their door without a key.

It really needed many repairs to the room I stayed in. The breakfast was not interesting. The room also could have been cleaner

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was horrible! The staff didn't warn us that there was a problem with our room and they told us to drive 30 minutes to their parent hotel which wasn't even comparable to this hotel. The lights were flickering and there was no heat apparently in the rooms.

Detail cleanliness needs to be improved, notably in the carpeted stairwells

When we checked in we were told they had no rooms on the third floor. Which was incorrect. Our second floor room toilet clogged and they handed me a plunger and for 30 minutes I could not unclog the toilet myself. Never offered to help. Then we moved to the third floor of the hotel to a new room. In both the second floor and third-floor room, the bed sheets were dirty. In the morning, someone was laying at the end of the hall passed out asleep, and when we advise the desk, they laughed and thought it was funny. Done with Microtel.

I like the homely look about the hotel , and the bed was so comfortable that i wanted to take it home. Enjoyed my stay and everyone was pleasant.

There were a number of dead and live ants in the room and it had an odd odor. There was also no working elevator.

We feel this was the worst hotel we have stayed at in a long time. We were assigned a third floor room. As we got off the elevator, the light overhead was strobing, so that it flashed on and off at rapid speed. It was disorienting. In addition, There was a thick smell of a sickly sweet odor, which appeared to come from someone vaping in the hallway. Unfortunately, the smell started to waft into our room near the end of the hall. We were having trouble dealing with the smell and asked if we could change rooms. They offered us a couple of other rooms, which either also were in the same hallway, or had a mildew smell that was worse than the vaping one. To the hotel's credit, their front office staff was very nice and tried to accommodate us. Eventually, they even offered us a larger suite which was very nice of them, however, this suite also had a strong smell of mildew and we decided to stay in our original room. We were told by the staff that there had been other complaints as well about the smell and mildew. We were told they had new air conditioners that were supposed to be installed, but were not there yet. In addition to the depressing smells in the rooms, the "business center," which consisted of a computer, a monitor and a printer beside the check-in desk, was not working. We were told someone had changed the password and they hadn't been able to fix it. So there was no business center. And the breakfast was very sparse as well. Would not return.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was horrible! The staff didn't warn us that there was a problem with our room and they told us to drive 30 minutes to their parent hotel which wasn't even comparable to this hotel.
