The rooms were not clean at all; hairs in bed and carpet was filthy. The only positive thing was the water pressure in the shower.
I had the pleasure of staying here for Family weekend at WCU. The facility was super clean and very warm and welcoming! Everyone who worked here was helpful, kind and very approachable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome!!! Everything was fresh and full, even close to the ending time of breakfast. The drive from campus was quick and easy! I will stay here on every return trip!
What I like when I travel is convenient location, ease of check in, clean room, easy in-room temperature control and the quiet to fall asleep. I got it all.
The staff was amazing!!!!! From the 1st call to book the room until we checked out! We arrived Friday night @ 11:00 PM and the gentleman was very pleasant .And then the morning staff was awesome and the breakfast was good.
It was a good trip we enjoyed ourselves we walked the property line and then order the pizza from Papa John's and then we had to go for a walk again
Excellent value. Staff at the front desk, in housekeeping, in the breakfast room all very helpful. Every request fulfilled. Charges were very reasonable. Room and bath were spotless. This was my second visit to the Microtel in West Chester, and if I need accommodations for friends in the future, I will make reservations for them at this property. Well done!
Nice comfortable hotel. Check in and check out, no problrm, even let me check in early. Good size room and comfy bed, telly and work station. No coffee making facility in room although coffee is available all day in the breakfast room. Breakfast very basic, needs improving. Would recommend.
Booked this hotel for one night only. We were in between stops on our Labor Day Weekend Vacation. Prices were reasonable, and this is pretty much an economical place to stay! My issue with my stay was the cleanliness!! Bathroom floor was dirty with mold from the curtain and hair from the last guest that stayed in that room! The shower was clogged so we had an overflow of water (dirty) into the bathroom floor. We called the front desk, nothing was done to resolve the issue and no other room was offered. There weren't too many cars in the parking lot so I know there must've had empty rooms!
The staff were accommodating but I can not get over the fact that my Clarins facial washes vanished into thin air within few hours. I was 100% certain that i left it right after my bath but the receptionist kept stating that no one saw it. This is a very very negative perception and impression. Now I am very skeptical about lodging in an unsecured hotel. FYI: I have been lodging here since my freshman year and I am a senior now. Every time my fiance comes around or I have a visitor, I always lodge them here. Hurt but learned my lesson.
I made my reservation with Shirley. I asked for 2 beds or a king. I was given the option of a 2 queen room with fridge and micro. I said yes, perfect. At check in, I asked for the latest check out possible and was told, noon. That wouldn't work for us, but after seeing the room, we decided to figure out something else. *Entered room and found 1 queen and a pull out sofa. Not what we wanted, but we made do. *Floor covered in plaster. We could see recent ceiling repairs, so figured that is where the plaster came from. *Every surface was covered in a white powder, like from the ceiling. *No trash can. *No ice bucket. *Mold on fridge. *Iron missing. *Hair dryer missing. *Pull out sofa sleeper mattress was stained. Overall, it looked like the room had been worked on and when the maintenance crew was done, housekeeping didn't finish the room. Whatever the deal, it was in poor taste to give out a room in this condition! However! The bedding on the 1 queen bed was clean between the sheets. Pillows small amd lumpy. The bathroom was clean! Nice, soft towels. (Toilet seat super loose and unable to be tightened). The bedding in the bag for the sofa sleeper was clean. Wi-Fi was good. TV was small, but worked and had an okay selection of channels. Parking was tight for trucks/trailers. Guest laundry was appreciated! So really, it seems we got a room that someone forgot to finish before renting out, and somehow our request for 2 beds or a king was not understood. We did not make a complaint to the front desk. We wiped down the surfaces we needed to use and the bed and bath were clean.
