Quick 2 night stay at the Marriott Courtyard Malvern Pa best described as ok. After being told I had a room on the top floor via the Marriott app I was given a second floor room at checkin. They were able to correct but the front desk person while friendly and courteous didn't seem to know how to change my room in their system. Second stop was the elevator which carpets are stained and dirty. My room was nice, spacious and clean. However I did have to kill 2 very persistent flies. Bed was very comfortable, tv had lots of options. Bathroom was clean, shower was very nice. I purchased 2 sodas from the little store and I preferred to pay separately and not via room charge. I'm not sure what the front desk person was typing into the computer but I thought she was writing an essay. Poor experience just to purchase a soda. While I didn't use them the pool and gym looked nice. There's also a nice outdoor seating area and fire pit. The Bistro served Starbucks coffee which I always appreciate. Friendly staff at the Bistro. However my boss got coffee later and had to return as it was cold. There's a Wawa a mile done the road great for snacks, fuel etc. I saw a shuttle van not sure they go to the airport. Had to go to the front desk for my bill maybe they don't slide under the door? I know markets dictate pricing but I stayed last week at a Courtyard twice as nice and half the price. Sent from my iPad
Stayed here for a business meeting. Staff was great, hotel was spotless and location was very quiet. Modern decor and spacious. Shuttle drivers were friendly and offered service to the local area. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy. They shuttled many times to and from the venue, allowed us to use the lobby for the after party and a conference room for the Sunday brunch. They were friendly, helpful and accomomodating. The rooms were clean and well stocked. We used the pool and the computers. I would recommend this particular hotel for any big event.
My experience was mostly with sales in booking a Corporate Sleeping Room Block. My sales person Jessica Evans, Director of Sales went above and beyond to accommodate and ensure the clients were well taken care of. The client had 2 offsite meetings to attend Jessica not only worked with me in coordinating the sleeping room block but worked with the local businesses there to make sure shuttles were confirmed and all details provided. From a business stand point the Courtyard Great Valley Malvern will always be my first choice when my clients travel to PA. There were many changes Jessica always had a professional & pleasant attitude and was always willing to complete the client request. Jessica Evans a true standout. I would be remiss not to give a shout out to Shannon Thomas who was sent on a wild goose chase by the client trying to find one of the attendees with a gift bag. Shannon never gave up I did find out later the attendee was at a different property - his loss... Thank you Jessica Evans & Shannon Thomas true professionals at all time.
I stayed here for a business trip. I must say that upon entering, the lobby is very nice, modern and spacious. I cant even say enough about that staff especially Tai, the front desk manager, who is super amazing. She took great care of my entire business group. She was such a pleasure to deal with. Most of her staff were super nice and helpful too. I love how the lobby breakfast bar, turns into a regular bar after 5pm and offers lite food. If there is one thing I must say is that, I wish hotel would offer room service. None of the restaurants were walking distance. The lite food in lobby was yummy, so I feel the hotel and guests would benefit greatly from room service!
Tiffany at front desk was very friendly & recommended wonderful restaurants & places to go. The rooms & staff here are too notch. The lobby cafe is really nice. The hotel is very conveniently located for dining & shopping at King of Prussia Mall.
I recently got married and my husband and I chose this hotel to block out rooms for our out of town wedding guests. I cannot say enough good things about our experience! The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Some of our friends, family and myself included spent time on the patio with a fire pit, which was so relaxing! All of our guests that stayed at the hotel expressed to us numerous times how much they liked the hotel. We definitely will be recommending this place to other people!
My wife was attending a seminar, so she invited me to stay a few days near Valley Forge PA at Malvern at the Courtyard Marriott----it was delightful. Primarily a business hotel during the week (with families with kids with sports tournaments on the weekend)---we were enjoying a nice 5th floor room away from what might have been a busier/louder downstairs room. Nice "Bistro" for light food (chicken wings and caesar salad was great)but pricey...nice room setup w small refrig/tv/bathroom setup ergo-nomically but why no pay movies? HBO/etc came in fine---little housekeeping issue resolved quickly...and front staff eager to please!
My family recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding. We are a large, noisy, and chaotic group that hadn't seen one another in several years. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Jareck and Shannon met us at the desk with smiles and laughs. Tiye drove us to and from the wedding venue several times and even serenaded the bride and groom with a song on his flute! Josh was also incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed the entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in the area!!
I just stayed one night, but Jarek was very amiable and helpful during my check in process. I had questions about the area and the rates which he answered for me. I will stay at this hotel in the future when I am in the area for business.
