Bedroom is mediocre, smell in lobby, restaurant is awful but you get used to that, staff is friendly, breakfast good, basic bar but considering the high rate charged we expected something better. However hotel is closest located to a very large asset manager and hence very popular.
I reserved a dbl bedroom for me and my two teammates. Being participants of Toughest Mudder Philly we were going to be dirty funky and waiting for the shower would have been unsettling but we are rugged and were prepared. However, before I had the chance to mention this to Josh at the front desk, he beat me to it by suggesting another room for the same price (already discounted) and I was now more than a one time guest. Josh made me feel like a special guest. That evening I had to run a Tough Mudder event that started at 12 midnight to 8 in the morning, knowing I was able to shower in my own room while my teammates had to duke it out between each other in their room actually helped me successfully complete 20 miles of muddy terrain and difficult obstacles. Though I hardly used the fresh and contemporary styled room I did get to enjoy the fact it was very welcoming. Thank you to the young lady in the morning who was also very friendly at the front desk. Thank you Josh and the courtyard family
The good - nice common area downstairs. Easy access to highway. Brand new Panera, Smash Burger, Target - just a few blocks away. Well stocked pantry and coffee bar in main lobby. The staff members aim to please, very hardworking and friendly. The bad - very thin floors - I can hear everything happening above me. The person upstairs must have had a bad dinner - because they have flushed the toilet five times in ten minutes. I have stayed at several courtyards in the last few years - they all are pretty much the same in terms of decor. It's decent. The bathrooms are dated already - mine had someone else's hair in the shower - several pieces. I wish hotels had hand sprays in the showers - making it easy to really clean a shower.
Everyone was real friendly! Had a shuffle that took us to the office and Josh, the manager was great. Very helpful with everything and even mailed me my shirt I left in my room. Clean hotel and good food! Would stay again no question.
Room and amenities spacious and clean. The gym was well appointed for this class of hotel (single room, but equipment new and in repair. Treadmills, Universal, cycles, elliptical). The pool was clean and big enough to swim back and forth although not Olympic sized of course Breakfast buffet average - good but probably not worth the $20 .
Whenever I am in the area I always stay at this hotel...the only reason I don't stay there is because they are sold out - so book early! The staff is so friendly and everyone of the team members in housekeeping and the restaurants always say Hi to me.
The hotel was super clean and Josh (the general manager) was incredibly friendly and helpful when we forgot toothbrushes and toothpaste. He also helped us get a cab when there were no Uber cars available for 5 people. The hotel was conveniently located, comfortable and the service was excellent!
Stayed on a business trip. Quiet place, Nice hotel. Like the fact that the mattress were slightly firmer variety..not super squishy like some others.. Keep in mind, you will need to rent a car to this place. There are quite a few fast food places, Panera bread etc in the neighborhood (again u will need a car to drive around). Overall happy with the place.
This hotels lobby is not bad, but the rooms are really tired and seem to not have had a renovation in many many years. Furniture was beaten up, bathroom was way behind the times and didn't even have a working exhaust vent. Staff was friendly though and personable. Likely would not return based on the property condition.
I cant thank the staff and especially Marykate for going above and beyond her duties in making sure that all of our academy families were taken care of. We had over 75 families staying the weekend and all I heard were great things form all the families . They liked how clean the rooms were, the healthy breakfast choices, and the option for the kids to get a warm snack from the eatery later in the evening. The morning breakfast staff had there hands full in the morning as all the soccer teams and their families came down for breakfast before leaving for their games but they also did a great job in getting the food out and getting us on our way. I told the academy director to put this hotel on the list of hotels to come back to next year.
