Very friendly hotel staff. Stayed here two nights for a family wedding. Super easy check in. Jarek, the hotel receptionist was GREAT-- super easy going and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed. Definitely recommend! Wawa is 1 minute down the road as well-- super convenient.
Hello Marriott Courtyard I just stayed at your hotel on Aug 11,2017 and would like to thank the young man Jarek for the best hospitality ive ever received with a Marriott. Between my kids and I we called the front desk 1000 times and jarek did everything request with a smile...
We stopped by this hotel with no reservation. We had previously checked in at another hotel and was not satisfied with it. We decided to try this Courtyard. Upon arriving, we were greeted very nicely and they had someone helping us in no time, since there were other guests checking in at the same time. Jarek was the first staff member we encountered to help us. We explained our situation and requested to see the rooms first before checking in. He took us to see the rooms and decided to stay. He was able to get us 2 rooms that were joining, which was great! We did encounter a small issue in our rooms after being in them for a short time but we called down and they took very good care of us by checking our new rooms and then they carried all of our bags to our new room. Jarek, was always very pleasant and very courteous to us. They have a small food bar to order from and we got some snacks there that night and also had them uncork a bottle of wine for us. Staff very helpful and pleasant. We had breakfast on site the next morning at 7:00 a.m. and the breakfast staff again was so pleasant and helpful. Kevin assisted us in the morning at breakfast and check out. The rooms are very nicely done and well cared for. The furniture was not worn or dirty looking at all. You can certainly tell this hotel is under great management. I was truly impressed about the service that is given at this hotel. Well done Courtyard! Thank you for the enjoyable stay! Would definitely be back if in the area again and would recommend!
Extremely friendly staff near the Mainline. I was here to visit Longwood Gardens and practice my amateur photography skills. Ansel Adams I am not. I wish they served lunch in their restaurant, but the staff made some recommendations in the area. Breakfast was not free, but I have to say it was pretty good. The lady Tai at the front desk really made the visit. I'll be back next time in the area.
We just stayed here 2 nights in early August while visiting the Philadelphia area and overall from start to end, our stay was amazing! When we checked in, the young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and gave us an extended 2 queen room up on the 5th floor facing the back of the hotel. (Room 506) The room overall was very nice and had no hidden smells or odors along with any part of the hotel. The beds I do have to admit are pretty firm, but still comfy, but I did sleep pretty well both nights. If you like firm mattresses, the beds are perfect for you! The air quality was amazing! Joshua, the general manager is definitely one of the best general managers I've ever encountered at any hotel! The way he treats his staff and cares about his guests is just phenomenal and just makes me want to come back! Every single staff member we encountered was extremely welcoming and friendly, even the ladies at the Bistro! This is my official go-to hotel in the Malvern area and will without a doubt be staying here again! I would without a doubt recommend this hotel to anyone in the area and I'm already planning on staying here again sometime before October of this year!
The room was very clean and comfortable, with a sitting area, desk, and refrig. The location was perfect for our family wedding weekend. The staff accommodated transportation for a large group of people for both nights to and from the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The manager, Joshua seemed to be there the entire weekend. There was one other employee that was there bar tending, overseeing food, and helping any of the guests as needed. I wish I could remember her name! They kept the bar open late for our group both nights providing excellent service. It was easy to find and close to shopping and services. I'd highly recommend this hotel for any occasion, or business trip.
Made a quick reservation to come up for 1 night to attend a friend's anniversary party. Was treated to a wonderful experience -- Tiye at the front desk was gracious and welcoming upon our arrival -- and it was a nice surprise to find a nice little welcoming gift in our room. In town for an anniversary party we left our gift in the lobby area by accident -- we called back and Tiye grabbed it and placed it safely behind the desk. The next morning the General Manager graciously offered to have it delivered to our friends home. Not sure the next time I will need a hotel in Malvern PA but know where I will be staying when I do!
I stayed at the courtyard for 4 nights on business. Front desk and dining area staff were very friendly. Upon entering my room everything appeared in order and clean. My first sign of trouble was that my tv would not turn on. I called the front desk and was told that she would notify maintenance. After two hours of waiting for maintenance I decided to walk to the front desk and inquire about maintenance. I was told that he had already left for the day. I was assured that he would be in my room the next morning. I would've appreciated a bit of communication because I was under the impression someone would be by that day. I let the staff know I would be gone out of my room for the entire day and wouldn't be back until the evening. I was assured it would be fixed by the time I returned. I decided to shower and turn in for the night. In the shower, there was a dried up used wash cloth hanging on my shower curtain. There was also a few curly hairs in my bathtub. The next day when i returned from my class, I walked into my room tried to turn on the tv, and it still was not working. I called the front desk and she couldn't tell me why it didn't work. Maintenance had not communicated anything with her. I asked if I could get another tv or room, she said they were booked but could possibly get me a room tomorrow. She also called another man, who was also the drive to come check out my tv. He couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. I was told another ticket would be put in to have it fixed. At that point I gave up complaining about the tv. Another incident, in the gym room the temp was at 81 degrees. I called the front desk to let her know and asked to have it turned down and was immediately told it would be a while. I decided to work out for 20 minutes and could not tolerate the heat any longer. Walked to the front desk and saw two staff members chatting and giggling. I asked again to have the air turned down. The gal tried to fix the thermostat and was unsuccessful. She called the maintenance guy who tried tinkering with it and was also unsuccessful. He ended up leaving the door open. Overall I feel there was very poor communication and customer service. Although the staff was friendly, I didn't feel like I was priority.
My husband and I spent a Saturday night here as part of a getaway weekend. We were greeted by a friendly woman who was very helpful and pleasant, she even offered us a choice of room on a few different floors. Our room was clean and extremely quiet we both can't remember the last time we stayed somewhere where we heard no noise in our room from the hallways or the elevator. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had plans in Phoenixville which was convenient to the hotel. Upon checking out a different woman gave us a great recommendation for a breakfast place in the area. The only problem was the ice machine on our floor was empty, however the person working the restaurant gave us a ziplock bag of ice, which was very nice.
We had a great stay at this hotel. I am a picky traveler and expect a lot. The staff are customer focused, the rooms and facilities clean. Great dinning near by but the hotel also has small bites. I could see how this would be a great business traveler hotel. I love the alcohol beverages so I didn't have to leave the hotel at the end of a long day. I love the cafe and this hotel!
