It was mostly clean except I found a few leftover hairs in the bed and on back of the bathroom door, like someone had a wig hanging there or something. It was a little noisy but I know there were a lot of kids running around because of a soccer tournament.
The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable but my main complaint is when we checked in for our stay Tuesday night the lady working the desk acted like we annoyed her by our presence. She hardly said two words to us and didn’t seem like she cared much about her job. Overall, I’d stay again but I’d definitely recommend someone else more polite at the desk.

It was fine. Clean and quiet.
The HVAC system in our room did not function correctly. It kicked on and off every 1-2 minutes all night, making it very difficult to sleep. It put out some cool air, but did not seem to take the humidity out of the air. The room was damp and musty, and had a mildew odor. The breakfast service was to go only. There was no seating allowed to sit down and eat. COVID should no longer be an excuse for businesses to provide limited and reduced services. We were never made aware when we checked in that breakfast food would be a to go only service. Overall, disappointed with this property and will not stay here again.
We stopped for a night driving through. With two small children we were happy that they still served breakfast even though you give your order to a lady and she handed you your meals to take back to your room. It was very good. I was very happy with the cleanliness and feel of the facility. My complaints are two very specific things: the AC in our room kept the air feeling damp and when it was on, it was good and cool but when it was off, it felt Soo HOT under the blanket. We had it as low as it could go to feel comfortable in the humidity: 66deg and there is no way it got the room down to 66. Second was that the bed was creaky that I got out of bed to go pee at night and woke up the kids. That wasn’t cool. But overall, the most important things for me: cleanliness and breakfast were met. Overall happy with our stay.
Covid clean
No issues at all with this property. It was a little confusing because it has now become a country inn & suites and there was no signage indicating red lion. not a problem though the staff and I had a good laugh when I checked in. Would definitely stay here again
I enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion Inn on 12 March 2021. We stay here often while visiting my family and granddaughter. Clean, friendly staff, close proximity to multiple restaurants(Culver's, Arby's, StarBucks, KFC, within walking distance. Across the highway is Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Shoney's, Ruby Tuesday, Burger King, ). Kroger(one of the nicest)is a half a mile away. A trampoline park, Movie theater, Walgreens and etc are very close. I paid $73 for my stay that night. Keep up the good work staff members of the Red Lion Inn..
