Michelle and her staff are wonderful. Friendliness, clean & comfortable rooms, responsive to our needs. We travelled with 30 athletes & Coaches. We highly recommend this hotel because of its courteous & responsive staff. Thank you Michelle.
We booked 5 days at the Holiday Inn so settled on a king suite so we would have a bit more room. Price was decent but I found the room to be dark as the sitting area did not have a window. I liked that the suite had a tub and small sink area. There was an area to walk the dog and desk service was good. The Ricky's Grill on site was excellent as we received breakfast coupons with a government rate. We did check out adter 2 days because the room was so dark but overall not a bad stay. Little noisy as our room faced 170 street and we were right above the main entance.
I try to stay at this holiday inn when I am in the city. My friend and I got to stay together this time. Most of the staff always remember me and always make conversation. Their customer service is 5 star. Michelle is truly amazing how she remembers our conversation. We had excellent service in the resteraunt and the food was very good. I would highly recommend the hotel and resteraunt. The IHG club is the best one I find to use.
Close to west Edmonton mall and other shopping, easy access on the west end to St. Albert and spruce grove. Ricky’s restaurant in site makes it easy. Nice gym and pool with nicely equipped rooms. Great price compared to other area hotels.
We checked in Christmas day, check in was a breeze; no issues with us being later or us having our dog (we had also had this verified at the time of booking) we were happy to see so many families being accommodated to include their pets on the vacation plans. Quiet and clean; nicely located between Edmonton and St. Albert where the family we were visiting for Christmas live. We ordered room service the next morning and although it took an hour it was good. What was a shock the next morning was the wheelchair accessible room we had did not have a shower in which I could use, it was a tub with grab bars. Tubs with grab bars are for the elderly and people with slight mobility issues - no one that is dependent on a wheelchair uses a tub/grab bars unless out of necessity. When checking out we asked at the front desk as I was sure I had asked for a roll in shower; we were told these were only available in the jacuzzi suites which is a significant price bump. I looked online to look at pictures of the suites and although it would be easier for me to use this shower provided the hotel also provided a bench; but this IS NOT A ROLL IN SHOWER - a roll in shower is a barrier free facility; if you have to step into a shower or tub in no longer becomes wheelchair friendly. The stand-up shower would be much better for me but I have to pay more for accessibility? My only other hiccup was I booked both my son and his wife and my husband and I rooms; same rooms, same floor, same length of stay but I paid $50 more over the course of the two nights because I booked well in advance; my son's procrastination and my subsequent booking provided a much cheaper price 110/night as opposed to $135; our check out agent did explain and remove the 2 pet fee charges to try to make up for (refund of $20) but I just think that more could ave/should have been done. One more thing that would be delightful is if the hotel had a portable lift in the pool/hot tub area.
Room was good as I received what I booked, room cleanliness was below normal and so was breakfast which was disappointing. This was my third stay at this hotel and I will overlook the issues and give them another shot in the spring before trying somewhere else. Average stay and no major complaints. If breakfast was better and my in room desk clean this would have been a 5 star review.
We just stayed for 1 night, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was pet friendly and very quiet. The staff was super friendly. The location is convenient if you have business on the west side. I would stay here again for sure.
4 of my best girlfriends stayed here for a few days, visiting in from Calgary, and it was just what we needed to escape all our kids! We had 2 rooms, with 3 of us in one room (two queens and a fold out) and it was incredibly spacious and the fold out couch was surprisingly VERY comfortable. We were so close to the mall, which gave us more time to relax and take in the sights, before unwinding in our rooms at the end of each night. The hotel staff was more than accommodating and probably the best I've experienced in a while. I would definitely stay here again in the near future!
Beautiful and clean hotel. Good size rooms, good bathrooms. Convenient location near restaurants. Short drive to West Edmonton Mall. Breakfast bar could have a bigger variety of food. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
we stayed there once and found it soso , its a bit noisy with all the trucks outside and the people in and out . The room is a bit aged but is big comparatively . You find restaurants near by . I think you can find better if your budget allows
