Pleasant hotel and restaurant staff! Very clean and comfortable rooms!

Great location, very attentive staff. Super close to 16th Street Mall & many fabulous restaurants. Loved having breakfast at Harry's and the fact that Starbucks was super close! A ten minute walk to the convention center, perfect place to stay!!

Staff felt rushed. Restaurant staff was super friendly, but hotel staff was rude and cold.

Staff was great, bathroom is small, valet parking seems very expensive,

Needed a hotel for the night, was able to get in early and check out late. Nice staff

was surprised that there wasn't a fridge or a microwave, but overall the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Walking distance to 16th street mall, great shopping and food of all kinds.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and we had a great time. I was in town for paramedic practicals and had plenty to stress out about but the comfort and atmosphere of this hotel helped me relax. That said, I prepaid for the room and they ended up charging my girlfriend for the stay anyway. They reversed the charge but the hold on her account definitely caused some bumps in the road. Initially they didn't offer much to make up for it but after I explained the issue we received a great deal of attention including a room service comp and the gentleman at the front desk even drove to buy museum tickets for my girlfriend while I was at the hospital all day working. When we checked out, though, they had made another billing mistake. I tried to explain it but was told 'Oh, you had the credit on your account, right? Actually you don't owe anything.' We were a little perplexed because I was pretty sure our bill outweighed the freebies they gave us, but she insisted so we checked out and traveled home. I took the time to do the math and figure out what we should have owed just in case, and lo and behold, they ended up charging us exactly that. I'm just glad I didn't take it for granted that their numbers weren't off again.

Great hotel. Lots of nice renovations in the room and good facilities. Only issue is lots of street noise, especially if you're on a lower floor.

The lobby and common areas on the first and lower floors are nice, and staff was polite and responsive (although it took way too long to drop off a bag for storage since valet was not to be found). Spent two nights in two different rooms, changing due to street noise and loud, rattling A/C in the first room (6th floor). The second room (11th floor) was an improvement in terms of noise since it faced the interior courtyard, but both rooms suffered from somewhat shoddy finishes/workmanship (if you notice details) and seemed worn, even though the decor tries to be modern. Beds felt quite old and had impressions from long use. Desk lamp didn't work in second room. The 11th floor had an odd geriatric smell in the hallway. Would have been better off at a more typical brand name hotel.

Neat older hotel - with the older style comes one issue for us - Denver is alive with things to do and street noise can travel! We would ask for an inside room next time we go there.

The Hotel is old, but has been recently remodeled. The location is outstanding. The room is large and comfortable. They provide a very healthy and fresh breakfast, and a cocktail hour in the evening. Overall, the experience was very good. They are working to get rid of some mice that made their way in during the rehab process. I did see one in the restaurant.

Single King room was awesome with a living room, kitchen area (fridge, sink, microwave, cabinets), and separate bedroom and bathroom. Gas fireplace and dining room table also. Location right downtown and near the 16th street mall free bus. I will try to stay here again next time I am in Denver.

Nice modern comfortable rooms. Staff very nice. Excellent free breakfast. Great room rates . Would definitely recommend

Stayed two nights for NFL kickoff. Close to 16th St Mall with all the amenities you need. Brief walk to free mall bus then train (to sports authority stadium or airport). Good breakfast with workout area (watch out... Air IS thinner a mile up) Staff was very helpful.

Nice location to downtown Denver; within walking distance to 16th street mall and also Union Station

The hotel was awesome! It's located one block away from the 16th street mall. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices including cereal, eggs, sausage, French toast, yogurt fruit salad. They offer one hour of happy hour and there is a tip jar for the bartender. I had an early flight and was able to check in around 1pm without extra charges because luckily a room was available. Overall wonderful experience!

Nice hotel in a good location. Nice breakfast. Lots of homeless people in downtown area but we felt safe. Parking expensive but cheaper options nearby

Small, worn-looking lobby and dark, depressing rooms with canned air (the windows don't open). Assorted staff knocked on my door, despite having a do not disturb sign up. They also called to "welcome me," waking me from a nap.

The Magnolia us awesome! Best free breakfast buffet with a wide variety of items including home made fruit smoothies! Loved the late night cookies and milk too. Harry's serves very good food and drinks. Excellent burgers! Rooms were quiet and the facilities are very good, aside from the elevators, which are original to the building, so they can be cantankerous. Overall a wonderful 3 days in Denver thanks to The Magnolia!

Overall the stay was mediocre, I expected a lot more from this hotel. Housekeeping did a very bad job, and would take all the soaps and towels and not bring new ones. One day they took all of my girlfriends bathroom products (hair care, makeup, ext) along with her headphones, and cell phone chargers. They did offer some free food, and snacks and stuff like that, but everything was always dirty, and the food often had bugs crawling on it. All in all i think they are about as good as a motel 6.

Dear Jon, Thank you for letting us know about your last stay. I apologize for the inconvenience and for not meeting your expectations. It seems as though the mattress in your guest room has failed, although it is less than a year old. We will address that immediately. We will also address the non working lamp, and the odors, which were the result of non working equipment in our compactor room. We hope that you will give us an opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.
