Clean, nice, chic hotel. Excellent location. Staff service is very average, they just do what is necessary to keep their jobs. My big complain is the beds, pillows were fine but the mattresses were so uncomfortable, hard with a dip in the middle. We had very tough nights just because of the mattress.

We had the unfortunate luck of drawing a floor 2 room with blocked out windows and no view. Of course the front desk asked at check in if we wanted to pay for an upgrade, but that kind of struck me as an odd offer. Having stayed at the Teatro 15-20 times over the last two years, and knowing the climate in Downtown Denver, I am surprised an upgrade wasn't offered as complimentary. Not really a great way to win over guests to repeat coming back, and certainly didn't meet our expectations. Not to mention, the room was located right next to their HVAC system that buzzed loudly all night. Valet staff is the one of the best in Denver though - so hats off to them, as well as the morning barista.
