I understand that for what I pay the facilities are horrible, I pay in a non-smoking area and it seems that neither the Driftwood staff nor the people smoking in the weed pool respect it, I really do not like that cockroaches at all I found in the room. I do not recommend it!

Staff was awesome!! Checked in a little early and they were great! Hotel needs some updates, but overall clean, comfortable beds, hot shower.

Someone came home drunk or high was locked out and was beating the door down. The person inside didnt want him insside. The beach was hard to get to for older folks...gates and steps. Parking lot was so small.

Needs cleaning and a lot of TLC. ( tender, loving, care)

Stayed there about 10 years ago. Our visit wasn't that good this time. The toilet paper holder kept coming out of the wall there was no anti slip pad in the tub, no hair dryer. Panel in room between beds where the light fixture is was coming out of the wall. Place has gone downhill.

Entire place seemed worn down. Coffee maker dirty. Would not stay there again.

This hotel has a fabulous location right on the beach so the view is amazing! The hotel itself is just ok. If you only need to sleep for a night it serve it’s purpose but if you want to vacation I would look at other hotels. The beds are not too comfortable and the drapes have an awful old smell. There’s barely any parking so I’m sure that on high season is a nightmare to find a spot. As I said if you’re only passing by and need only to sleep this hotel is good for a night not to spend a vacation in it.

They absolutely do not care. As I was told by the front desk guy. This is a smoking hotel. “Filthy place” is short to describe it!

I went to the effort to find a pet friendly hotel on the beach and found it here. The problem is no pets allowed on the beach! This is not the hotel's fault but everyone should know. Hotel itself is showing it's age and could stand to be updated. The pool was not heated but used to be.

Oceanfront, but the room was kinda rough shape and always damp

The only nice thing about this place is its right on the beach. After you make your way through a maze of junk and garbage, the ocean is wonderful. Rooms had roaches and were nasty. Room smelled dirty, ice machine was broken, rusty machine parts right outside our door, was afraid to even turn the covers down on the bed. Used a blanket on top of the covers until roaches started crawling on us. Left at 11:30 pm after checking in at 7:30pm. Drove 100 + miles home.

It was so uncleanliness room. I saw the big roach running around. Terrible smell like smoking smell.

Staff very friendly and helpful.room was a bit to small and could use some updating loved the location and a great price

The cleaning people were friendly. Front desk, is hidden and nasty. Smelled. Front office closes at nine so the noise at night is loud. Don’t take your kids there. No food, no elevator, 3rd floor is nasty looking and also smells.

Everything was lovely and remodeled. The beach was beautiful the chairs were divine the view was spec-tabulous
