Welcome to our beautiful Journey's End home, the ultimate Captiva Island vacation retreat. Journey's End is a stunning, three bedroom +, two bath 2000 sq ft villa that will comfortably sleep 2 - 8, located in the very desirable village area of world renowned Captiva Island. Journey's End is our family's second home and given that we live in Miami, we are blessed to be able to spend a great deal of time there. Because we are there so often, we have elevated the home to the highest possible standards with respect to comfort, quality and range of amenities. Recently remodeled and professionally decorated, our beautiful, three bedroom beach home is located in the heart of charming Captiva Island, an easy five minute walk to the village area of Captiva. Many lovely upgrades included such as Luxury plank tile flooring, French doors and plantation shutters just to name a few. Our home features a spacious, fully equipped Quartz topped Island kitchen with luxury stainless steel appliances including a side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water in the door, ceramic topped range and large over the range microwave. Since this our family's second home, we provide items not usually found in the kitchen of a typical 'rental home'. Here we provide you with a new coffee maker with a plentiful supply of high quality Colombian coffee, non dairy coffee creamer and two types of sweetener (sugar and splenda) . You will also be glad to know that you won't need to purchase salt or pepper, herbs and spices, foil paper, foil trays, saran wrap or paper towels. Hungry? Use our Panini sandwich maker to prepare a delicious hot sandwich to satisfy the afternoon munchies or use our Belgian waffle maker to prepare fresh waffles in the morning.

We have a new Samsung 55 inch Smart TV in the living room for your viewing pleasure. In the two master bedrooms, we have two new large screen ( 50 inch in the upstairs master, 40 inch in the downstairs master ) Samsung smart televisions, allowing you to use our free WIFI to utilize our NetFlix account to access their inventory of 40,000 movies to instantly stream movies directly to your TV. In addition, we also have an extensive DVD library, and a large collection of books for reading in one of our three lanai's, or in our comfortable hammock or on the beach.

Our Villa's downstairs master bedroom is appointed with a brand new king sized bedroom set along with a new luxury mattress ( not the typical rock hard bed found in most rentals ) and 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and brand new luxury pillows guaranteeing a great nights sleep. Adjacent to the bedroom is a fully remodeled bathroom with Marble, frameless glass shower, Quartz topped vanity, stand alone soaking tub and stocked with new thick, ultra soft towels and a hair dryer. Outside of this bedroom is a private screened in lanai with a pair of comfortable rocking chairs surrounded with tropical foliage.

The upstairs master bedroom of our beach villa also features a new bedroom set with luxury King Sized bedding, 600 thread count sheets, new pillows and a fully remodeled bathroom with marble shower, frameless glass shower enclosure, hair dryer and new white towels. Step through the french doors of the upstairs master onto your private sun/moon deck to lounge on our comfortable Adirondack chairs. Picture yourself sitting outside the master bedroom of our lovely beach home at the end of a fun filled day toasting the moon and stars with a glass of wine. The loft outside the Master Bedroom is fitted with two new twin beds and a comfortable over-stuffed chair. This is the perfect place for the kids to sleep, close enough for parents to keep an eye on things while still allowing parents the privacy they need to fully enjoy the romantic setting of Captiva.

Finally, we've recently added new living room and dining room furniture. The living room includes a queen sized sleeper sofa with a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper to make the sleeper as comfortable as a regular mattress. Outside of the living room we have our largest lanai, fully screened in, with a two large chairs w/ ottomans, a sofa and coffee table and a table with 4 chairs. This lanai is the perfect space to take your morning coffee while listening to the many birds that live in our fully grown tree canopy that surrounds this beautiful private space.

On the ground floor, underneath our beach villa, you will find two custom made fish inspired bench swings that are delight for young and old to gently swing on. We also have a full size hammock, big enough for two which is an ideal spot to read one of the 100+ books that we provide for you in our library. Our ground level beach storage area has everything needed to fully enjoy our world class private beach. There, we keep beach chairs, umbrellas, a very wide selection of every conceivable beach/sand toys, a cooler, beach floats, noodles and finally a cart with which to carry everything to the beach. Also on the ground level of our home, you will find 4 adult bikes for cruising around Captiva's beautiful tree lined lanes, 2 kayaks and two stand up paddle boards for use either on our beach or on the bay. Finally, on the ground level, we have our game room where you can find a pool table with a ping pong topper so that when you are not at our beautiful beach or our pool area you can still have a full entertainment experience. Delight in spotting the Dolphins, Manatees, birds and fish that inhabit our beautiful slice of paradise. We also provide you with a wheeled kayak cart and life vests for you safety.

Just a two minute walk to our pristine, private beach, via our private boardwalk and only a 30 second walk to the heated swimming pool. Our beach home is located in the heart of Captiva village. Park your car upon arrival and stroll over to 6 restaurants, shops, boat, wave runner and bike rentals, parasailing and many other beach related activities. We also have a small general store nearby for anything that you might need during the week.

From fine dining and nightlife, to spectacular sunsets and world renowned shelling, Captiva Island will deliver everything you need for a great vacation and more.
