This Hampton Inn hotel needs some serious help. I reconfirmed my reservation before arrival as I knew I would be late. We arrived at 12:00 am - and the first TWO rooms they tried to give me had another guest - that I obviously scared to death as I opened the door to their room. Then they said - sorry - you should go find another reservation (now at 12:40 am). When I then found out they had two more open rooms for reservations that had still not showed up - I stated I too had a reservation and was here first - so I convinced them to give me a room (and I suggested they call the person on the other reservations ASAP to inform them they no longer had room). Then to top it off - they charged we twice for my one room - which I am still waiting for Hampton Inn to take off my bill

Shower drain stopper would not stay open to allow water to drain

While we were out, the toilet overflowed, getting all over the floor. The staff plunged it, left the plunger, and left. They did not clean the floor, offer to move us, nothing. Just left us in our room with a nasty floor and no clue if the toilet would randomly overflow again. The room and location were only mediocre, so it was already overpriced. This incident ruined the entire experience.

Shower was not working. They couldn’t not fix the shower the night I was staying. I had to go to Best Western for the night. Hampton Inn supposed to refund for the two rooms I booked for that night. I have not received the refunds yet.

The pool and hot tub was out of order. It would have been nice to know that before check in. The upholstery on the furniture desperately needs to be clean. There are no closets in the rooms and no place to hang your clothes. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well.

Nice easy to find location

The staff was fantastic. Extremely friendly and welcoming. The pool was under renovation so couldn’t be used, which was a major bummer.

The hotel was easy to locate, easy to access via the main street in and out of town. Room was reasonably priced given their competitors. Room upon check in was more or less clean, although there was black mold along the shower sliding doors and along metal siding. However, the hotel will not clean your room every day during a multiple night stay due to COVID restrictions to reduce contact. The towels are light weight and pretty flimsy (and smell) so keeping them for multiple days use is out of the question. When I approached the front desk about our room not being serviced, I requested two clean hand towels and two clean bath towels to replace the ones we used the night before. The front desk receptionist first mentioned that they would not be servicing the room till after we checked out, then inquired as to WHY I needed clean towels. I shouldn’t have to explain (for a good several minutes) WHY I would request additional towels if they had no intention of servicing the room during our stay. My husband and I just wanted a set of clean, dry towels for the next day. This really shouldn’t have been an issue, it should have been a “here you go.” We also noticed that something in the room was bothering my husband’s sinuses and figured the air conditioner may not have been thoroughly cleaned or serviced. It was loud and kept us awake throughout the night. Our room also had little to no sound proofing. We could hear the traffic, guests slamming doors, and use of the ice machine.

I understand it wascovid but thete was no service to speak of. The sack breakfast was more for a child A tiny muffin a bottle of water and a grana bar. Awful!! We went down for coffee at 7am out no coffee and thd desk clerk came over tolk the pot and never spoke t o us about when coffee would be availble. It was mot a good atmosphere for us
