All together ok, but they are very very cheap on food options. You can tell they are trying to keep the food cost down. I mean we were by the ocean and they’ve served tilapia on the buffet, that’s all they had, sporadically some salmon. Also, beef I’ve only seen it maybe two times on the buffet. Mostly pork and chicken. Hot water was no available around 7:00 pm till about 8:00 pm, I guess over use, so we had to wait before taking a shower. Resort is in need of a big renovation, as everything is very outdated. There’s also a lot of seaweed in the water, but that is not their fault. They had a couple guys trying to clean up the shore everyday. Not that many activities on the property either, and the a la carte restaurants, they are just ok. Staff is friendly in general and they do try to make you feel welcomed there, so we’ve tipped them every time. All together not a bad experience but I’m sure there’s better choices for the money. We’ll definitely coming back to Cancun but at different resort.

It was okay, not worth the money though

Wasn’t worth the money. The hotel was just okay. Staff were superb, and the amenities were subpar. The rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. It was all inclusive but the restaurants close on certain days so you may not get to try one or two. The app to order room service or make reservations worked when it wanted to, sometime saying the ALL INCLUSIVE restaurants were booked solid when they weren’t. I am very easy to please and here, I kind of was not.

Not a bad hotel, staff was very polite - although the hotel itself makes it extremely difficult to charge anything to the room. Didn’t set expectations too high for all inclusive at this price but they could stand from upgrading the liquor choices just a bit.

The resort is a good experience for the price. The food and the room were the worst part of the inclusive. The staff were friendly, especially Karla, one of the event staff. Activities: they have some decent activities but it is more of a chill resort than a party one. Most people were in their 30s. Food: Not gross but slightly worse than okay. I was sick of it after 3 days. Room: Quiet enough and clean. The fans outside were pretty loud and made it hard to sleep at night. The bathroom was really nice but there was a leak in the ceiling. Staff: Their staff were very friendly and bilingual. Karla especially, she hosted the activities by the pool. I wouldnt restay personally but for the price it was good.

Loved this resort and Sandos in general, stayed at Sandos Playa Del Carmen last year and it was much more outdated, but still a great place as well. Loved both of them
