The staff were very nice and the lobby was upscale and inviting. Going further into the hotel there were things that need updating. Wallpaper peeling, wires exposed and our bathroom door in our room didn’t latch shut. We did like this hotel though and would stay again.

I was not made aware that there was both construction on the outside of the building as well as directly outside of my hotel room door. There were workers and cords lying around the entirety of the hallway and they were drilling and making noise when I checked in. Had I known the hotel was undergoing construction, I would have chosen a different hotel to stay.

Good enough for a short stay

Booked a room for 5 people for one night. The room was in a decent state, but did not have the roll away bed we needed. The front desk brought the bed to the room when asked, but the linens on the bed were damp. There were no trash bags in any of the cans in the room. Water pressure in the sink was very low, which made the sink difficult to use. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which left the floors and walls wet after a shower. There was also mold growing on the walls and ceiling because of this. The room smelled overwhelmingly of bleach; good to know it was sanitized, but offensive to the nose. The lobby and bistro were good looking and clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Check in and out was quick and painless. Over all it’s a good place for a short stay, but I wouldn’t book here more than a day or two. For almost $200 a night, I’d expect a more functional/cleaner room

The bed was very lumpy, the bathroom door did not close, the drapes were shredded. For the 303.00 usd we paid we expected better accomodations. We are frequent marriott customers and this location was not satisfactory.

No one takes responsibility for a failed hotel

The hotel was under renovations, vagrants everywhere with no lights on the property. We never checked in. We stay at a hotel in the same shopping center that was fine. I want to be refunded by Hotels.com or Courtyard Marriot and all i am getting is nothing from either one of you. I book through hotels.com for protection and now I have none as you are not refunding my money. Marriot says it up to Hotels.com to refund us. Hotels.com said to go to Marriot. IF this is not resolved I will not use either service or hotels. Note. I have used Marriots for over 40 years and never had such an issue as usually choose them across the country. It is also the first time Hotels.com has refused to help me in this situation. I am really sad by this fact.
