Well maintained. Clean and odor-free. Beds were comfortable.
Very outdated hotel. Room only had two towels and no hand towels or soap in the room. The only positive is it's at the casino.
I liked going upstairs instead of staying at an outside hotel
HORRIBLE! We’ve stayed here before and, although it wasn’t updated, it was clean. We’ve noticed a steady decline and this time it was absolutely DISGUSTING! There was garbage littered throughout the hallway and dirty towels placed outside the doors. Our room seemed ok until we went to bed. The bed sheet was off and the pillows reeked of the last people that stayed in the room. They obviously had not been changed between guests!!! Needless to say, we packed up and left. We complained to the front desk and all they said was, “We’ll leave housekeeping a note!” No apology. No refund, not even partial. The casino was so smoky there was a haze in the air. We won’t be back.
Check in was horrible. Arrived two hours early waited in an hour in line to be told there were no clean rooms. I asked if I could just check in and be texted when room key would be ready. I was told no I had been marked as being here. Came back at 4 to once again to wait in another hour line to check in.
nothing more to say except unfriendly front desk.....

Been to mountaineer in past . Disappointed with he fact that Gatsby and buffet combined and buffet not available except on weekends. Room could of used a little bit better cleaning in corners ECT. Toilet back had cleanser left behind. Overall it was ok for the price and we will come again
Fantastic lobby very pleasing to the eye. The check in staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. I have no negative remarks about my stay

Neat little Resort Casino one of the few that I found with a hotel on the premises of the thoroughbred race track. Even got to handicap while hanging out in the pool.
Always enjoyed staying their but this time the cigarette smoke was worse since the smoking pavillion is no longer used and the wifi just kept saying mountaineer wifi unavailable
Pool is decent, snacks are around each floor, room was clean. Casino was nice and race track. The bathroom fan did not work, cleanliness in the staircase area, parking for the building we were staying at was very hard to get.

Due to the sold out Holiday weekend, we were unable to check in anybody earlier. Check-in not until after 4 pm. If you came before that we didn't have any rooms cleaned to put you in and company policy states we do not check you in until we have a clean room. I will address the Front desk, but we don't control the rooms Housekeeping update the systems when they enter for clean rooms.
