Great

My family loved that it was on a hill surround by nature

Great place to stay. Breakfast was not consistently good. Great park and shooting range nearby.

We were pleased and enjoyed a clean, comfortable stay.

The location is romantic and lovely. If you get a balcony on the 2nd floor you are able to walk out of your room into the back area. I has picnic benches, fire pit playground. I liked this convenience. If you have a higher room you then get to experience the views of the hills. The "continental" complimentary breakfast is not your typical cold pastry with banana deal. There were biscuits, gravy, pancakes, boiled eggs.....almost a whole buffet set up. I was in Logan for a Birthday Party. Everyone recommended Chief Logan Lodge. It is beautiful sitting on the top of a hill. Which was the one downside. You DO NOT want to book this hotel if you are in town to PARTY. The road to the hotel is twisty, turny, steep, and not something you want to navigate at 2-3 in the morning after having a few drinks. Luckily we sipped and took our time getting back....felt like we missed some of the party.

Very nice place!! Quiet. Great, friendly staff. Kids love the pool! Room was great and bed was comfy!!! We love it!! Have stayed here several times!

Enjoy WV State Parks. Here at Chief Logan for the first time and not disappointed !

Check in was usual. No hone and very bad internet. The food in the restaurant was far below what I expected. My room as the clean until 5. The parking lot was crowded with construction workers being loud and drinking beer. I spent most of my time in a parking lots t in a fairly nearby strip mall on the phone and conducting business, the purpose behind the trip. The Mexican workers should be reminded that some American do speak Spanish!

Overall our experience was great. There were 2 flaws with our room. The air conditioner was leaking and the exhaust fan was broken. The view was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay again.
