the hotel was nice. we were trying to get close to were we wanted to go fishing. they had a great place to park our boat.
This hotel was unclean! We reserved a king room and received a room that had been smoked in, was dirty and had a full size bed in it!!! We had to go to the trouble and the expense of finding another hotel!!!
We were in the area to Hawk Watch at Smith Point and then we also took in some birding at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. Also, found out about the Rice Festival in Winnie that takes place the 1st weekend in October.
