Really nice staff. Many great food options in walking distance.

VERY GOOD SERVICE

Property is poorly maintained. Carpet stains, Dings and smudges on the walls. Cable box hanging down from wall-mounted TV. Headboard was neither attached to bed or wall. Some lights out. Walls are paper thin. Expect to clearly hear normal conversation levels from adjacent rooms. Interior cover of door lock falling off. Furnishings were not in good shape. It's a shame really. This place is in a great location, has an interesting, sparse Scandinavian feel in the interior and an almost nautical, seaside look to the exterior, but... Maintenance of the property seems almost non-existent. This is the second visit to this property in a few months, and both rooms that I stayed in had similar issues. I hope the ownership finds a way to resolve them.

I come from out of state reserved a two night stay not aware of the property, but saw it was close to aspen colorado one of the stops we where visiting. The room was $196.00 a night thought it was pricey, but cheaper than the places in aspen. The bedrooms where ok, but the main room the couch and recliner where soiled old pieces of furniture felt dirty to sit on. The shelf under the sink upon opening fell apart in which you can see drips of glue running down the shelf not properly put together. I addressed the issues to a staff member who said the couches didn’t get cleaned that previous customers left grease stains and instead we were given plastic metal chairs to sit on. We left after the first night was advised I would have to speak to the person in charge who wouldn’t be available till several days later for them not to charge me for a second night. Spoke to another staff member the next morning who said the person in charge is a reasonable person. Upon calling back I was told my card was already charged for second night and they had no concern for the lack of bad experience we had the person in charge even had the indecency to say your lucky we don’t charge you for the shelf. We went to other hotels cheaper in price and cleaner and better hospitality. I was not looking for the most high end place to stay, but something respectable.

Friendly staff, large clean rooms with fridge, microwave, sitting area, and less than 30 min to Snowmass. Walking distance of bars and restaurants. Really great

Clean, comfortable, spacious, affordable. Staff are wonderful

Noise from above was terrible, no tv in bedroom and the bed set up was terrible. The bed was almost on the floor.

Cable TV didn't work. Apparently couldn't (wouldn't?) make it work. (they gave a $30 credit, which I thought was a little light). Breakfast pretty meager.

Be sure to look up for the night time blsnket of millions of stars. Little ones that cover the sky but not usually visible in cities

We absolutely loved the view outside our front door, the staff was the best local area travel guide, and the facility was situated at the perfect walking position for downtown Basalt. We are already planning our return.

Newly remodeled and the look great. Super friendly staff. Clean units. My only request is that they have mini fridges and microwaves in the units.

I am sorry for your concerns. We are trying very hard to be able to get new carpets and new fixtures. It has been a very trying year in our industry.
