This hotel was very messy and had boxes and messes in the lobby. The room was not very nice and they refused to give a refund. There is absolutely nothing to do on the property. Do not book this hotel unless you want a cheap rate with a messy hotel and a no service staff.

The Front Desk staff couldn't find one of our reservations and refused to look at the confirmation emails provided. Once I contacted Orbitz and Orbitz called, then the staff "found" our reservation. At that time they promptly charged me twice for each room. I tried to contact them directly and they've ignored me. I contacted Orbitz, who contacted the hotel and was told the charge was reversed. This was demonstrably untrue so I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company. After doing that, suddenly the money was returned. The hotel parking lot had trash and food around both doors. The stairs to the rooms are broken and difficult to get to. The lobby is unusable as they are storing equipment for the renovation there as well as the hallways and by the stairs. The rooms were at least clean, though the use of extension cords and the chipped light buttons were disconcerting. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room we stayed at is newly renovated. I like the staff. The inside is still being renovated and it will look nice when it is finished. It is a good place to spend the night in Alamosa. Good price compare to most motels nearby.

Renovation in progress but generally poor condition. One of the worst continental breakfasts we have ever had.

Hotel was old and dirty common areas of the lounge were being used for storage

I had stayed here previously with tolerable outcomes. But this time was the worst. Someone tried to sell me crack outside my room; the guy was a bullying thug with a gun in his belt. The room itself was unsanitary and absolutely disgusting. There was a hole between my room and the next, so that guests could hear and see through. I did not feel safe staying at this hotel; it's a complete cesspool. It attracts the worst kind of people. Seven minutes after I had registered, I requested a refund. But the front desk help was uncooperative, and the manager was unreasonable and unprofessional. They refused and charged me full price. I immediately left and stayed at Super 8 instead. Super 8 was clean and quiet; the staff was outstanding. I recommend it entirely. Rodeway Inn Alamosa is the worst hotel I've ever seen, even though I travel frequently with work and usually enjoy staying in lower-cost, lower-rated hotels. Do not stay at the Rodeway Inn Alamosa. This place and its management are complete crap.

Orbitz failed me this time. The hotel did have a double pet room available, though.

We stayed at this hotel because nothing else was available in the area. They charged us an overpriced fee of $155 when they usual rate for a room is $70. When we arrived to the room one the bed was unmade and there was trash and left overs in the table. Apparently, the housekeeper did not clean this room. When I saw the problem, I called the front desk immediately and the wire from the phone came off. I did not know if to laugh or to get upset was best! They assigned me a different room and apologized for the problem. Unfortunately, they could not accommodate us on a 2 bedroom and they gave us a king size bedroom and they provided a rollaway bed to compensate the lack of 2 beds. The room was ok and the breakfast was ok too. I would not recommend anyone to stay here if you are checking in late and can't go somewhere else.

Bad as soon as I walked in the front door. Trash piled up overflowing in trash can by front door. Only Person in line to get checked in and person was on the phone for over 10 min as I walked around waiting, never acknowledged I was there. (Morning Person was friendly and fast). Got In room and decor was at least 20+ years old. Carpet was old stained needs to be ripped out and replaced. Didnt want to sit on couch, which looked like it had recently been taken from a dumpster. Had a sliding glass door to outside which lock and handle were broken so it didnt work. Smoke dector was not there that was a big concern. Looked like it had been ripped out. AC/Heat controls didnt work. Stuffy 80+ deg all night. No Phone In Room To Call Front Desk. No alarm clock. Didnt matter couldnt sleep anyway. Bathroom was moldy under caulking, soap and hair in the drain. Wish I would have taken photos to post.

amenities not in room as listed. no refrigerater or microwave. continental breakfast had poor selection. lobby extremely hot. no elevator to second floor and stairs steep

Brown water from the faucet was not drinkable, bathtub looks like it has not been thoroughly cleaned in years, peeling paint and wallpaper throughout the building, dead vegetation all around the building (if any). My husband said that it looked like a hotel in which he once stayed in Mongolia. The cost of the room was equivalent to that in a major metropolitan area, so the poor facility condition is puzzling. However, the staff were very gracious and the beds were okay.

Very outdated and falling apart. The rooms smelled wierd, the pool area was not functional, it was packed with mattresses and furniture. The front desk girl had no clue what she was doing ( she was friendly, but not trained), shower head didn’t know which way to spray, and the dirty bathroom fan was very loud.

Room was tired. Needs to be up dated. Bathroom lights burned out, slow to replace. TV remote batteries were almost dead. Security door was broken, anyone could enter without key. Two star hotel with a four star price. Will never stay in a Roadway hotel again!

Facilities in poor condition, staff did what they could with what they had to work with. Restaurant dining room was dirty & only one wait staff.

Water stains on the ceiling. The bathrooms were in poor condition

first, I had to change my hotel reservation due to the weather and other delays. The hotel was really nice about that and said it wasn't a problem. BUT, the whole reason that I booked this hotel was that they advertised a children's water park! we got there and a sign was up that said "pool closed until further notice" after we settled into our room I went looking for the "pool" and found that they had built a sitting area over the whole thing! I was so mad! To top if off the room was dirty and very small. The sheets were coming off the beds and the mattresses looked really gross. I'm not hard to please. I don't mind older hotels or hotels that are less than 5 stars, but don't spend your money here. In fact, we just left our keys in our room and went down to the Motel 6.

it was just ok. but the staff was nice. you do not want any other description

no ada accessible elevator to get to second floor bathroom floor was dirty bathroom toilet was dirty tv had cable and regular over the air tv channels on it, but the over the air ones had snow... pool was closed was not notified before hand as that was the only reason we booked here staff did not know were vending machines were as they did not belong to the hotel, but were on hotel property the onsite place to eat had only two people taking orders for food... took over 5 minutes to seat us and only one other couple before us in line the food place waitress did not show up so after 5 minutes we left the only options for free food with room was cereal and milk, danish and milk or muffin and milk biker people speaking russian i think.... whole bunch of them the hotel room air conditioners vent out into the hotel loby for the rooms that face inside which makes the loby hot as hell

The room was in really bad condition. It was unclean, there were stains and grime everywhere. There was old chewing gum on the fire detector and mold/stains in the shower.
