first, I had to change my hotel reservation due to the weather and other delays. The hotel was really nice about that and said it wasn't a problem. BUT, the whole reason that I booked this hotel was that they advertised a children's water park! we got there and a sign was up that said "pool closed until further notice" after we settled into our room I went looking for the "pool" and found that they had built a sitting area over the whole thing! I was so mad! To top if off the room was dirty and very small. The sheets were coming off the beds and the mattresses looked really gross. I'm not hard to please. I don't mind older hotels or hotels that are less than 5 stars, but don't spend your money here. In fact, we just left our keys in our room and went down to the Motel 6.

it was just ok. but the staff was nice. you do not want any other description

no ada accessible elevator to get to second floor bathroom floor was dirty bathroom toilet was dirty tv had cable and regular over the air tv channels on it, but the over the air ones had snow... pool was closed was not notified before hand as that was the only reason we booked here staff did not know were vending machines were as they did not belong to the hotel, but were on hotel property the onsite place to eat had only two people taking orders for food... took over 5 minutes to seat us and only one other couple before us in line the food place waitress did not show up so after 5 minutes we left the only options for free food with room was cereal and milk, danish and milk or muffin and milk biker people speaking russian i think.... whole bunch of them the hotel room air conditioners vent out into the hotel loby for the rooms that face inside which makes the loby hot as hell

The room was in really bad condition. It was unclean, there were stains and grime everywhere. There was old chewing gum on the fire detector and mold/stains in the shower.

Pros: the staff was very friendly and tried to be accommodating but there were obstacles that they were not able to address as listed in the cons. You are given a voucher for a breakfast with 3 choices at the restaurant at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, again with excellent and friendly staff. Clean enough but old and not very clean looking Cons: The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. Two stories with no elevator. No working remote to the TV (they tried to find one but could not) They had a foosball table but no foosball to play with. This may seem insignificant but it was the story of this hotel. This hotel had a lot to offer, but fell short in many ways. This too bad because the hotel owners have good, hard working employees

Hotel is under staffed, which meant that you waited too long get checked in. The bed had minimum blankets on it and I had to request more blankets in order to insure that we wouldn't be cold at night. I requested a king bed and what I got was an HC accessible room with all the paraphernalia that goes with a HC bathroom. It was sparse. The free breakfast included with the room was in the attached restaurant, Country Kitchen. It took ten minutes to get seated (there were only 5 of us in line) and we waited another 20 minutes before we left without any attention from the servers. We recognized the servers as same staff that was supposed to be checking people in at the front counter. Had we stayed for the breakfast there were only three choices to choose from and if younwanted something else, it would cost extra. We over heard others talking about how they waited an hour before being served. We left and ate elsewhere. When I went to drop my keys at the counter, there was no one there to help, they were working in the kitchen.

Needed to go to front desk for toilet paper?? It needs a lot of tender loving care, such as mending the cushions in the terrace by the water fall, removing mollies when they repapered the rooms. The breakfast staff was the reason we would go back and maybe recommend this hotel. They were happy, helpful and very acccommadating.

The room was okay but the fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. Alamosa is a small town but has the big city price for hotels. The price is one of the lowest in town. To stay in a much nicer hotel you will pay much more.

The staff was nice, the location is ok, the room is just fine, with $98 no breakfast is not worth it

the hotel was in a good location for getting around the city and to Adam's State Campus!

Lots of pillows. Comfortable bed. Very clean, but room smells like it was smoked in.

Nice and clean room, efficient staff, close to main street

The hotel has had better days, but it is well maintained, clean and conveniently located. Staff very helpful. Good value for the money.

We had a very nice stay grang kids loved the water park.

We arrived at midnight after a 4 hour drive to find that the room we reserved was nowhere near what was advertised. It was obvious that the bathroom was not cleaned as it should have been. There were stains on the toilet seat, toothpaste splash on the counter & mirror, & leftover water from the last guest in the mini fridge. The front desk person offered to move us to suite the same night at no extra charge, but upon inspecting it with him, we found urine stains in the bathroom on the toilet seat cover. Needless to say, we will not be coming back to this establishment again.

Not writing much because I just drove 650 miles. The room was what I expected. I always look for a continental breakfast but with this room I got a 10 dollar voucher. I have a 2 and a 6 year old so the water slides did the trick...This was a great hotel with ecceptional service. I would recommend this hotel...

My husband and I took five grandkids on a trip to see the Sand Dunes and the Gator Farm. This was the perfect place to take kids. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was amazing and so accomodating and the best part was the indoor water park. Our kids couldn't get enough swimming in. Great weekend.

Although the hotel is old, the superb customer service and super clean facilities are top notch. The mini water park was fun and added a great touch for a relaxing getaway.

The website is very deceptive. The water park is smaller and dirtier than the one they described. The rooms are old and small. The hallways are dark and ceilings are low. The hotel wreaks of cigarette smoke.

This hotel is just as nice or if not nicer than any of the chain hotels in the area....Comfort Inn and Best Western included! Restuarant in the hotel is a plus. But the indoor waterpark should sell the family!

Thank you very much for taking the time to give our hotel a review. I'm sorry to inform you that the area that you are referring to is not our Water Park, granted it used to be a place for a pool but that was closer to the time when the hotel first opened. The pool is located in the south entrance, close to the Country Kitchen, we're sorry to inconvenience you by having the pool down we've been making upgrades all winter long and its taken us longer than expected but I assure you that we are working hard to get up up and running before the summer time. If you happen our way again we'd love a chance to exceed your expectations of our hotel and perhaps show you the 40 foot slide in the Water Park. Thank you for staying with us and we hope to be seeing you.
