Loved that it was close to the train station. The room was clean. The shower head was quite small and if you turned around too quick could burn yourself on the pipe. The room didn’t have a fan so got a little warm in the room.

Unbeatable location

Location, location, location! The location of this hotel is unbeatable. Seriously it’s just right in front of the train station. You can wear your ski boots with your ski gears walk out from the hotel’s ski room directly to catch the train in 2 mins. It’s just like a ski-in/ski-out hotel to Zermatt. The free breakfast was good while dinner lack of choices. Overall, it’s an excellent hotel if you want to ski in Zermatt, but don’t want to stay in Zermatt town (No car allowed).

FANTASTIC. We had the best stay at this property. It’s extremely convenient for getting to and from Zermatt without being the the hustle and bustle. Clean room, beautiful views, and a fantastic staff!

Great staff and beautiful accommodation.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Täscherhof where we received an unexpected upgrade to a deluxe suite which included breakfast. The staff were friendly especially Maria who made us feel very welcome and also looked after us in the restaurant which we also recommend.
The view from our room. The room was spacious and warm.
The fondue was delightful and the schnitzel was tasty. The house beer is good as well.

The room smelled like mold. I got sick staying there one night. They gave us an ADA room as an upgrade and I couldn’t even sit on the toilet seat without my feet hanging. Overall a bad place to stay

The check in process was fast and easy. Ladies at the desk where sweet and helpful with smiles. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Balcony was amazing and the view was incredible! Next to the train station, and a store if you need anything. I loved it here and i cant wait to go again!
