Excellent location, right across from Sunnega funnicular. Walkable from train station and the Gornegrot railway. Flexrent for skis right next door that gives a 10% discount on rental equipment. Overall fantastic place, will stay there again and highly recommend

Over all good hotel, only downside is to carry own luggage via staircase. Which hotel mentioned clearly but when you reach with luggage you realize efforts require to carry :(. clear view at top of Matterhorn from hotel decent veg\non beg options. quite\clam location opposite to ski lift....walkable 400m from railway station but hotel later informed free bus service operate till 7pm. better to enjoy view of Matterhorn from street also... decent shopping and dining option near station and walkable from hotel. Some picture of Joker felt scary but noting wrong. All hotels has drinkable water from toilet... but feel bit odd as quality of tap water good, hope hotels will install central water refill station. to avoid buying of plastic bottles for visitor traveling own water bottles.

it is around 5 mins walk from the station to the hotel, the location is kind of at the edge of town, so I stayed away from the noise of the city centre. there is a river next to it, so it is relaxing to hear the sound of the river at night. I stayed at the highest floor of the hotel with a balcony of a view of Matterhorn. however there is no elevator at this hotel, so it would be not that convenient for people with huge and heavy suitcase. I still think it is worth it as I could see Matterhorn when I wake up every morning during my stay.

Adorable hotel with great views of the Matterhorn!

We chose to stay here because members of my family had stayed here 6 years earlier and loved it. We however did not have quite as amazing of an experience although still enjoyed our time and LOVED the view from our balcony. The woman checking us in did not seem very friendly nor welcoming and asked to charge us for the room again before I showed her my receipt proving we had already paid online. The rooms seemed better and more updated than the pictures reflected and all of the accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Nice and clean property. Nothing fancy but well kept. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Our room on 3rd floor provided good mountain view. Please note that propert doesn’t have elevator so if that is your requirement then you need to look somewhere else but for us it was perfectly fine as we travel with backpacks
