This has been by far the cleanest hotel I have stayed at. The staff was so accommodating and helpful with everything we needed. The pool, spa and sauna area were perfect. I would come back in a heartbeat. Breakfast and the afternoon tea/snack were great as well!
The hotel is at a very good location, just across the train station which makes it very convenient. It has restaurant and others are nearby. Even a small supermarket is next to it. The parking is not bad either. Room is clean though a little small, with nice balcony. We were happy to stay there. ...
Room was clean and upgraded. Cute hotel in heart of zermatt, on the Main Street. Hotel has a ton of things to do (restaurants, bar and club). No A/C so that was the biggest problem- rooms were very small and got warm. Most hotels in the city do not have A/C. The staff at front desk were a bit uneducated ...
Good place to stay overnight to visit Zermatt, if all affordable hotels are full. Good facilities for skiers (spacious room for skis and ski boots), at a walking distance to the train station. Personnel at the reception not warm friendly but helpful and pragmatic sort of person. Room and toilets ...
I had read mixed reviews about the remote location of the hotel. My fears were unfounded however. In fact, i loved the location, set back from "downtown" Zermatt. We came to Zermatt to disconnect and go on hikes... not to stroll/shop on the main street. And everytime you retrun to the hotel you are ...

Great trip to the highest point and the Glacier Palace. Very expensive town. Example: dinner for 8 at the TV tower in Berlin was only €30 more than burgers for 4 and 6 beers in a little pub in Zermatt. Views are amazing from all levels on the slopes. Hotel was in a great location. Close to the train station. Beware: don't try to drive to the hotel. Only locals allowed to drive past the Tasch train station. Park your car here and take the train, or you could get a ticket that is more than a thousand dollars.
We were able to check in early.. our room was ready at 12noon... the front desk male reception was very attentive and curteous... we got a great view of the mountain the room was of great quality and very clean. When we first entered we did not notice the great view due to many cloud cover. When the sky cleared we had unobstructed views of the Matterhorn, along with a wrap around balcony... my only regret was having our stay of only one day in Zermatt.
Good place to stay overnight to visit Zermatt, if all affordable hotels are full. Good facilities for skiers (spacious room for skis and ski boots), at a walking distance to the train station. Personnel at the reception not warm friendly but helpful and pragmatic sort of person. Room and toilets very clean, furniture a bit run down but quite acceptable. Beware, near the train station means one hears the train... don't go there if absolute quietness is important for you.
I had read mixed reviews about the remote location of the hotel. My fears were unfounded however. In fact, i loved the location, set back from "downtown" Zermatt. We came to Zermatt to disconnect and go on hikes... not to stroll/shop on the main street. And everytime you retrun to the hotel you are greeted by the majestic mattherhorn as a backdrop. Two delicious restaurants a 5minute walk to the hotel (and there is also the hotel restaurant, but its all about grilled meat). Quality linens and towels and extensive spa/sauna facilities.
