Conveniently located walking distance from all downtown sites( within half a mile of Rosa Parks, River, Dining District. etc). Great hotel bar in the lobby. Clean room, good value.

For starters I was put into the wrong room upon my arrival. I ended up having to be moved to another floor and room but the room wasn’t in the best shape. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The furniture wasn’t very worn and falling apart. Then I was informed that the card machine was down which meant no one had an actual key card to their room and will need a personal escort to take us to our rooms to open the door every time we left and returned. I found it best just to leave my room door unlocked (a HUGE inconvenience) because there were only two escorts which were fairly busy. However, they were very polite. Lastly I was informed they only had one luggage cart which caused guests to make several trips to their rooms and cars during the check/out process.

The inconvenience at check-in to find out that the key card wasn’t working and hasn’t been working since Wednesday. I feel it was very inconsiderate of the manager staff to not provide the adequate staff for the weekend knowing that it was Valentine Day. I really felt limited to how many times I could go in and out my room been escorted and waiting until a staff meeting was available to do so. I definitely want to commend four employees who I feel like went above and beyond to make sure that things were handled to the best of their abilities. They’re Jet,Monica,Greg also the bartender I didn’t get his name.

Lots of issues. The room was not clean. The lighting was very dim. The shower would not produce hot water (but tub and sink would). Only stocked with 2 sets of towels (for a 4 person room). Ice machine on our floor don’t work and the staff seemed to not care at all. Staff seemed like they expected the complaints a didn’t really care. I paid too much money for a ratty hotel room. To make everything worse, the checkin process was painfully slow. I will likely stop using Hilton properties moving forward due to this experience.

When I received the keys to my room on January 29, 2025 a guest was already in the room. I informed the front desk worker that someone was already in the hotel room and the front desk worker made the correction. The new room I was assigned to was cold. The thermostat wasn’t working proper. My experience was terrible!!
