I took my mum to London for 3 days. I live in Canada and have not been to London for a number of years. The hotel was one of the options I could get booking from Canada, and was the most expensive option of the few I shirt listed. I was so happy we picked this hotel! The staff were AMAZING. They loved asking us where we had been and always made sure we knew where we were going and knew our tube route for the day. They really made my older mum feel very special and fussed over her bag carrying etc. After staying here, I will not stay anywhere else. Really made our little girls trip a fabulous trip!

Only fault was breakfast, correct cutlery not on table & unable to order a cup of tea. Orange juice leaked & unable to have any. Other customers asked for a spoon for yoghurt & were given large table spoon. Not a good experience.

We were put in a room that was in the basement. The room was so small, that we could not open our suitcase and walk around it. Our bathroom at home is larger. The phone in the room did not work. We could call out; hear the party we were calling but they could not hear us. After several attempts, someone from the hotel did come knock on our door to make sure we were alright. She questioned us on why the phone was not working and got a Maintenace person to come take a look. Eventually, the phone was replaced. They sent someone from room-service to come take our order. We contacted the desk to have them call us a cab for our early flight out in the morning and were told they were not able to do this. They could only book a "car" (a limo) for us. They said there was a taxi stand outside of the hotel, there was not. I am extremely disappointed with the hotel staff and the "luxury" accommodations. I am most disappointed by the misrepresentation of the rooms on their website.

Great location-close to the tube, shopping and popular tourist attractions. The Natural History Museum, the V & A Museum, Kensington Palace and Gardens are all within a few minutes walk. The staff were all unfailingly helpful and friendly. The entrance and lobby are very welcoming-lovely floral arrangements. Free water was supplied daily and they even provided free slippers in the room. The hotel room was quite quiet-you couldn’t hear any noise from the surrounding rooms either. The restaurant breakfast buffet was amazing-loads of choices both hot and cold. Room service was excellent too. I had a small issue with the air conditioning unit during my stay and it was attended to and fixed within about 20 minutes by two cheerful and friendly staff members. I would highly recommend staying here. Lots of nearby places to eat-pubs/restaurants/take aways. All in all a marvellous experience. Kudos to the staff.

The room was tiny and dark and disappointing after seeing the pictures on the website. There was scaffolding all over the outside. The room was clean but damaged furniture and marks on walls. The staff were ok but a little impatient with us at reception.
