This was my second time staying here. The breakfast buffet is very good. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The hotel is located near an underground station. There are many good restaurants around the area. I will probably stay here again if I go to London again.

We were given a complimentary upgrade to a luxury suite, which was very nice! We had lots of room and the facilities in the room were nice. As with many large hotels, parts of the room were a bit ‘tired’ but overall it was lovely and the communal areas of the hotel were very nice.

We had to change rooms because the one provided was not clean to standard, sheets were rough and lack adequate heat. An electric heater was provided at request. The first stay at the hotel was nice, unfortunately the second visit wasn’t.

The staff whilst friendly did not resolve our issues. The air-con started dripping in the middle of the night and by the morning the ceiling was bulging. We informed reception and told them we would away from the room for 24 hrs as we had to attend a funeral. We told we would be back late at night. They had plenty of time to resolve the issue. When we arrived at 11.20 pm the air-con did not work and we found a note telling us we could change rooms if we required. It was lte we were exhausted and leaving the following morning early for Stockholm. We spent a hot and uncomfortable last night. A pathetic sorry was all received. The level of professionalism at this hotel is leaves a lot to be desired.

Location Location Location

Located right beside the Gloucester Road Tube Station. The Lobby area and reception at the door was very nice, everything you expect from a a Hotel like this. We were very comfortable in the room, bedding was comfortable and the AC worked well. The room was quite large and even had a sofa and a desk. It was a good value for what we paid and we would stay there again. The room condition however was beginning to look a little tired and needed a proper carpet cleaning and a coat of paint. The bathroom floor instead of tile as was on the walls was linoleum which was lifting, the tissue dispenser stayed empty. I really hope that it gets the attention it deserves.

Super convenient from Gloucester Rd station. Very short walk. It’s a big hotel with very long hallways. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Basic room, but large for London. Some good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. I would stay again at another compelling rate.
