The building is old, but well maintained, it's close to almost everything, the machines were tight, didn't win anything, but we had fun
our check in was a bit of an inconvenience. first they gave me a double bed when i asked for a king, second the moved me to a room that had been smoked in, and finally when i did get my room our mattress was down to the springs
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay over the New Year Weekend.

Queit. Hot water. Nice river view. Moldy Shower. Hard Bed. Noisy loud AC. Slow draining sink.
Like many other reviews, rooms are clean but old and dated. Bath towels and bed linens were clean, but shower is very old. Hallways and elevators dirty. Casino has less table games and cannot smoke. 10 years ago had coupons for free coffee, and back then had tv's with national news in main hallway.
Rooms not cleaned well smelled very bad of body odor.

I love the Edgewater. I cannot even count how many times I've stayed there. This was the first stay that I didn't enjoy. The room that I got was filthy....peanut shells on the floor, the toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned in months, the shower was beyond gross. I'll give it another try at some point, as all of my other stays have been excellent. This one wasn't.
