The hotel staff was hospitable and welcoming, but the rooms weren't. It was old and run down, was greeted by a bed of roaches (literary crawling around), 2 cigarette butts in the window and a "prison-style" TV hanging from the ceiling. This hotel was horrible!!!!

dirty sheets and pillow cases. When notified front desk, housekeeping has left for the day so I had to change myself.

The room was so nasty I didn't even put my purse down, I GOT OUTTA THERE FAST! Stained sheets, stained mattresses, even the pillow in the bay window was covered in pet hair and stained! The carpet was absolutely disgusting! This is a NO start motel!

The hotel appeared old and I really wasn't pleased. In fact I checked out early. Would liked to be reimburse.

A/c unit in rooms needs fixing. Maid staff came in w/o knocking Front desk assoc disrespectful

Overall, very nice & helpful Staff. No evidence of bugs or otherwise. Be prepared though to buy breakfast elsewhere if you stay during the week AS it only consisted of dry cereal. Waffles are Only served sat. and Sunday. Neighborhood is a bit...dark but stayed there without any problems plus all the stores are located within a 2-5 minute drive.

This was a OK hotel it served its purpose for my time here which means just a place to lay my head at night but if you looking for a hotel that has better rooms and better hotel staff keep searching because this isn't it... I was at this hotel a total of 5 nights and EVERYDAY I had to replace my room card because it kept being deactivated I killed a total of abt 3 weird unknown bugs plus the hotel staff never remained at the front desk when their assistance was needed I remember waiting abt 30 mins for hotel staff member to come down to the front to give me another key card on the many times it was deactivated to get in my room oh and the Internet connection SUCKED it was very some timey

The rooms were ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. There were large & obvious stains on the blankets. The sheets had not been changed, in what seemed like a month. They also had stains and dirt on them. The refrigerator was rusted and dirty on the inside. One gentleman and one lady at the front desk tried to help and were courteous, but the General Manager didn't seem to care about the situation at all. We are very disappointed that you would include and recommend such. I would NEVER recommend Microtel to anyone. If you had a column for ZERO STARS, that is what I would check.

There were no frills here but it was a good value for the money.The ladies at the desk were what made this stay pleasant, it was the Manager that spoiled it. First, let me say the room exceeded my expectations for the price. The breakfast was simple until the waffle days, Thurs. Thru Sunday. The location could not have been better. Every fast food was represented. There were familiar stores like Walmart, Big Lots, Walgreens and Kroger. Convenient to the interstate and buses. I was very pleased with our choice, until the Manager spoiled it. To begin with, we are Senior Citizens and my husband had surgery a week before our trip. We drove down with our Son for his business trip. He stayed downtown with the other attendees. To save money we planned on taking the Marta everywhere from the Airport. There was a comment on the website stating they had a shuttle. On our first day I inquired about the shuttle and made arrangements for the next morning. We were told to call when we were ready to come back. I asked if there was a charge and there was none. So, we used it again the next day. That day we were dropped off and once again told to call to return. (We did take the bus back the day before because we were too late for the first shift and didn't want to wait for the second shift.) I called at 530 to arrange for p/u and for the first time, spoke to the Manager. He told me the shuttle was only for stranded guests at the airport needing a motel. He said there was a charge otherwise. I was speechless. We were cold and wet and to take the bus we would have to take the train back one stop and wait for a bus for who knows how long. I was extremely upset with him. He asked me if I was from Brooklyn, when I asked him why that mattered he said, if you were you would know you are not cold. After enduring his rude sense of humor he finally said he would make an "exception" since we were in a sense STRANDED and send the shuttle at 7pm. We couldn't go far so we sat at the shuttle stop and waited an hour and a half. No shuttle. I finally called at 715 and he said he had to find the driver. 15 minutes later he said he would be there at 8 pm. I asked what happened to 7 and he said he was doing something else. I was almost in tears by this time and one of the other shuttle drivers, who saw us waiting all that time, shivering and wet, offered to drop us off since he was near there. We had to walk a little ways, but at least we got back. I had the courtesy to call and cancel the shuttle. We never used the shuttle again. We walked to the bus stop in the morning and back at night. That man spoiled the rest of our stay with his rude and inconsiderate attitude. I never spoke to him, I spared myself and him.

It was great for the price clean and friendly staff especially the front desk

The Breakfast bar could have better, adult cereal. The luggage rack appeared to be broken, it was hard to handle, especially for a female. Perhaps, the legs needed to be rework.

was nice for the $$$ but should have 24/7 shuttle service our plane got in late 130 a.m. shuttle stops at 12a.m. so had to get get our way back by cab......

Our room was dirty. We wanted to use the refrigerator but realized it was not plugged in. When I tried to plug it in there were no plugs near enough. I went to the desk and was promised that someone would be up in 5 minutes. No one came. I went to get help again and was promised someone would come up. No one came. I gave up and moved the refrigerator next to the bed to plug it in. I was there three days and no one ever came.

this was a nice hotel clean and the clerk was wonderful and tried to help
