If i could give this hotel a negative review, I would! Everything was awful, from the staff, the way they handled everything, to the rooms. My boyfriend and I weren't even greeted when we walked in. They looked so annoyed that we were there. I had booked my booking through Orbitz and have NEVER had an issue with Orbitz. When i get to the counter, a black guy was checking us in. I forgot what his name was. But he was eating chips the whole time he was trying to check us in. They were all so slow moving and just overall very unprofessional. He ended up telling me that my room wasn't paid for. I told him it was already paid through Orbitz and I have an email confirmation with my payment and even showed him my credit card where the payment went through. He didn't care. Told me he cant help me and that I need to call and get it figured out. I called Orbitz and they ended up calling the hotel to tell them it was paid. We finally got a room and when we walked in we were immediately DISGUSTED. The rooms could not have been worse. They were very outdated. Smelled so musty and the bed sheets had cigarette holes. I didn't want to stay there for a second longer. Went to go check out immediately and told them to cancel my reservation. I asked them to print me out a sheet saying it was cancelled and they said they can't do that. I was so annoyed and just stormed out. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Anthony was rude and disrespectful at the desk and rooms was dirty

Floors were full of greased dirt. Laid out towels to walk on. Bed was unmade. Worst hotel ever and I'm 81 years old. That says a lot. I felt dirty after I showered.

My stay was pretty unpleasant, the room was obviously not cleaned very well. There was blood splatter on the wall, the toilet was not cleaned, there were still items left in the drawers and the room had atleast 5 flies in it on my first night. It's obvious that there is a lot of drug activity going on as well based on the constant traffic and people running from room to car all day long. Knowing I wouldn't get my money back, I stayed, unfortunately.

Room was dirty, cigarette holes in bedding, air did not work, shampoo ed carpet while gone, still wet when we returned, changed room for ac not working, only had one bed and that was the only room left, so yeah not so impressed

Was put in a double bed room that really smelled bad. Stained up floors, air conditioner barely worked. It was the only room available online. After talking to the staff, they decided to let me stay in another room that smelled better. Just not sure why this wasn't their first choice instead of the smelly room. will not be staying here anymore.

I stayed at this hote 6-8 years ago and remembered it to be quite nice - it chang d and not for the better - in the first room there were massive cobwebs on the walls and ceilings, stains on the bedding, food spilled on the chair at the desk, and a ring leftover from a drink cup - the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in awhile as there were nail clippings and leaves in the room. The bathroom was similarly unclean. I asked for a different room and while it was better it still left a lot to be desired - burn holes in the bedding, the floor needed to be vacuumed and the chair was filthy. There were food wrappers on the steps and walkway leading to the room and other guests staying at the property were noisy. It may be cheap, but for piece of mind GO ELSEWHERE!!

It was fine for my needs. I would stay again. The mattress wasn't great but I knew it wasn't the top hotel chain.

I stayed here while passing thru in December. I plan to stay again in January. It was close to everything you could need with a nice staff. Thanks

Normal, clean Motel. Only complaint would be the lack of coffee and Coffee maker in room.. A big plus is the availability of a Walmart (1/2 mile away).

No place in the bath room to place anything. The one and only 4 inch shelf was pulled out of the wall on one end. The tub arrangement allows water to run down the end above the tup and then it runs off the tub and onto the floor. The bedroom carpet was very dirty.

The room was nice- tv, shower, beds. Had all the essentials. The room had a horrible odor though. We quickly got a candle and all was well. The mattress was soft and the pillows were hard. I like it the other way around! Decent value though, I suppose

The room smelled of heavy mold. The bathroom floor was dirty, the tub had hair in it. The bed wasn't bad comfort wise, but the bed spread was very dirty with what I hope was dried food. not with the $100 for the day and half that I was there. Property was filthy with trash everywhere and in dis-repair.

This was a simple, decent hotel room. The room was newly remodeled with flat screen TV and nice bathroom. Smelled a lot like chemicals or carpet cleaners.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although my reservation said the room had a refrigerator, we did not have one and twice when I went to get ice, the machine was out- I guess it was due to many people filing ice buckets. The shelf in the bathroom was broken, so we didn't have any place for our toiletries. Although the room was reasonably clean, the grounds were somewhat littered and the hallways that had garbage cans were overflowing, which was an eyesore.

This hotel has a very good location if you are looking to go to Bass Pro, Ameristar Casino, &/or enjoy historic St.Charles Main St shopping/ night life. Due to it's central location it is only about a $10 cab ride to historic St.Charles (we use this plus when enjoying the area's night life). The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is clean and the beds are comfortable. There is also a Wal-Mart and several restaurants within walking distance.

Spent Thanksgiving night at this hotel and was wonderfully pleased with everything...Room 245 was clean & quiet. Recently new bedding/beds, I would guess from the niceness and comfort of both.

If you are able to overlook the musty smell and don't need any amenities, this is a great place to stay. The staff was incredibly friendly. The location couldn't be better. You're surrounded by places to eat, three minutes from beautiful Historic St Charles and the riverfront. I'd definitely stay there again, but if old and stinky bother you, or you have any type of asthma or respiratory issues, I'd check the room before I committed to staying. Also, if I pay for three adults to stay in a room, having more than one bath towel would be nice. Lol

Out room was very clean & in top condition. With a king bed room we were able to get frig, microwave and coffee maker. This is not available in rooms with 2 double beds. There is no hair dryer in the rooms but the front desk did supply us one. The beds were a bit hard for my taste but my husband didn't mind. All in all for the budget price it was very good. They do take pets and someone left their dogs poo in the front near our door and they staff took 24 hours to clean it up after we reported it.
