When we stepped off the elevator onto our floor it reeked like cigarettes. Our room thermostat was broken and it was 93 degrees on our room. I will give them credit because the maintenance guy came quickly and fixed it within 5 minutes. The room had burn marks on the carpet and stains. There were crumbs and built up dust/grime around the base of every piece of furniture. I would have left and gone to another hotel but everything was booked up. Extremely disappointing.

The rooms were supposed to be non-smoking and there was a very strong odor of smoke in the room and hallways.

Rooms smelled like smoke and wall was dirty by the bed.

The convenience to our children was wonderful however, this is my third stay at this location and I'm sure I won't be back. I stayed two nights with my daughter and requested clean towels for the second night (early that morning) and the clerk made a note of my room number and request. When we returned to our room that evening there was not only no towels left at our door but also, when I went to the front desk only one bath towel available! The hotel was not "sold out" and we were not offered another room due to the inconvenience. The next morning around 6:30 housekeeping is the the room directly across the hall and the staff is speaking very loudly, slamming doors and vacuuming the carpet!! Needless to say, we ended up getting up and checking out (it wasn't like we were going to be able to fall asleep again)...checkout was 11:00 :( When leaving on September 11th, I was greeted by I assume the property manager, who asked how my stay was and when I shared the fact that we had no towels, he asked my room, apologized only and wished my safe travels....

The room was great regarding size and the staff was very nice however, after staying 5 nights without even receiving clean bedding or our carpet vacuumed and having to request clean towels multiple days, sadly I wished we had stayed elsewhere. Even with Covid-19, the lack of room service was a little extreme considering many guests didn't always wear masks.

Not what it used to be. Inconsistent cleaning. Dirty shower floor, mold on the hair dryer, some cobwebs on the ceiling, lots of spots on the carpet. Clean comfortable beds, table, towels, sink, and toilet. Water was leaking from the fridge and even when told, they didn't fix it. Didn't clean the shower floor even when I asked them to. No servicing due to CoVid. Breakfast were bagged with a muffin, small container of apple sauce, and a bottle of water. Not so great. Juice would have been better and maybe a yogurt parfait or something. Disappointing when this hotel cost more than some others in the area.

The room was very large, quiet and the bes was very comfortable. However, we stayed from Tuesday until Sunday and our room was never cleaned and we had to repeatedly request towels. We did understand the precautions due to covid-19 however, for the money that we spent, not having our room cleaned the entire time or clean bedding put on the bed was a extreme.

It was great. Very nice suite. nice beds. clean bathrooms. spacious.

The people were so nice and friendly! Great location close to casinos and downtown area.

Very friendly staff, hotel room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Close to the airport and I will definitely stay there again. Also restaurants and s casino within walking distance.

It’s nice to have a hotel that will accommodate large breed dogs. Makes it so much easier on our family to bring them along.

Convenient stay if traveling up I-70. Close to the Arch. Breakfast is as to be expected when included with a hotel stay.

Close to lots of restaurants. Free USA Today was nice, too.

I was very pleased with our stay. Close to shops, casinos and downtown St Charles. And pet friendly

I have several suggestions: Low flush stools (can't imagine how much money is wasted on water usage). Also bathroom stools that are higher. Us old folks with back/leg issues have a hard time getting on and off them.

I’m so happy and I highly recoment this hotel. You won’t be disappointed. I will stay again in this Hotel. Charles Hotel thank you. See you soon.

Good Morning! I do apologize for the smoke smell in the room and I have forwarded to my Head Housekeeper your concerns regarding the dust by the bed. We work daily to track and stay on top of any rooms that are being smoked in, we do pass along and additional charge, but at times it is hard to locate the culprits. Thank you for your feedback.
